Chapter 14

Haley's POV 

"Ell!" I saw my brother walk through the door. "Are you okay? Why are you in bed?" he asked. I explained him the full story, then he looked at me like if I had two heads. "Who's top is that?" 

I stared at him in confusion, I saw the top and noticed it was Ross'top. What the hell!? I was still wearing my shorts and my bra, just a different top. Wait, Ross did this. No, not in a bad way, when I fainted I must have been so cold so he was kind enough to change me. He didn't see anything, did he? That would make things more awkward.

"Haley, why are you wearing Ross' top?" He sounded angry before he stood up. "Ellington, NO!" he slammed the door and... locked me in!? He totally lost his temper this time. But that's not what happened, he misunderstood the story.

I started hitting the door, hoping someone would open it. I couldn't hear anything until someone opened the door. Riker was the one who opened it, he stood there with an horrified expression. "What happened, Riker?" I asked and he walked in shutting the door. He looked at me. "Riker..." I spoke and he opened his mouth to talk, but nothing came out.

"Did Ross and you has sex?" okay. That was something I never expect him to ask. "What!? No!" I cried and I told him the full story.

"What! You fainted? he asked. "Well, I think I did, everything just went black and it happened earlier too, when I slipped on the glass."

"Shit, Haley why didn't you called us."

"Well, I couldn't when I had fainted. Anyway, what's  Ell doing?"

"E-ell...Ellington"

"Spit it out."

"Ellington thinks you and Ross had sex or something, and he got mad because in the car Rocky accidentally told everyone that he likes you, and Ell got angry and he's going to beat Ross!" he exclaimed.

"What!?"

"Ross likes you and Rocky said it, so Ellington got mad at Ross and they were saying things to each other before Ross left the car, and when we came back he noticed you had his top on and now... Ellington's really mad." he spoke and I felt my heart beating rapidly in my chest. Ross likes me? He likes me in that type of way? But, why would he like me, I'm just Haley.

Your brother probably attacked Ross already, and you're the only person that can stop him. No, he wouldn't hurt Ross.

"Oh no." we ran downstairs, I saw Ross walk past, giving me a sad look and he rushed off to a room. "I better go and see him, you go talk to Ellington." he placed his hand on my shoulder and I nodded and he pulled me into a hug. "Thanks Riker." I whispered. "For what?" he softly replied. "For just being here." I sighed and we pulled apart and we smiled.

"No problem." he replied before we walked separate ways.

I hate to admit this, but I was scared at what was I going to see...
