Chapter 59

Haley's POV

"Mr. Lynch is that Melanie I hear?" I exclaimed to Rocky as I leaned over the hotel lobby's chair. We weren't in here for long since we we're just waiting for the gasoline in the bus to fill up and make sure everything's okay to our trip to Chicago.

"We are only talking!" Rocky smirked and Ross spoke up. "That's what Haley said to Ellington about us." He winked at me causing me to blush and sit back down next to him.

Rocky was knocked out, fast asleep along with Riker, Destiny, Ellington and Rydel which left me and Ross together.

"It's nice having some time alone with you." Ross whispered messing around with my fingers. "Me too." I whispered kissing his cheek.

I couldn't help but think about my future with Ross, getting married, having kids, it was just ...beyond words.

"When we get time off we should run away." He whispered. "Run away? Where?" I asked.

"Anywhere just us, we can leave everything behind, start a new life." What was he talking about? I sat up and looked down into his confused hazel eyes.

"What?"

"Just us.. that's the only thing that matters."

"So you want to just leave all this behind? Your family, your friend? I can't leave Ellington!" I exclaimed.

"Why? Whats so wrong with it?" He sat up facing me.

"Ross, I love you but I just can't leave everyone behind, m-my mu-"

"Haley, that's the past you need to forget about it."

"What did you just said?"I hissed.
"Pas-"

"I can't believe you just said that. I will never forget about my mum, past or not Ross." I felt anger as I ran my hands through my hair.

"STOP SCREAMING!" He exclaimed. "I'm the one screaming? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO IS SCREAMING!" I was so angry at Ross at this point.

"YOU JUST DID IT, AND I'M SORRY FOR YOU NOT AGREEING WITH WHAT I WAS SAYING!"

I jumped of the bunk and he followed. I hope this doesn't wake up everyone.

"AGREE ROSS? AGREE? HOW COULD I AGREE TO FORGET MY MUM AND RUN AWAY FROM EVERYONE!?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND YOU'RE ALL THAT MATTERS IN MY LIFE!" He screamed back.

"WELL JUST STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND THINK ABOUT WHAT I WANT FOR A CHANGE!" Shit those words came out completely wrong. I'm a mess when I comes to arguing.

"THINK ABOUT YOU? HALEY YOU'RE THE ONLY FUCKING PERSON I THINK ABOUT! YOU KNOW WHAT?" he threw his hands in the air and I heard a few clicks of the lights turn on but I just simply ignored it so  did Ross.

"WHAT?" I hissed back and ibsaw his teeth grind together and a flash of guilt smack through his eyes.

"Sometimes I think about you too much, and all you're doing is ruining me." His words made me jump and sadness swept over to me.

"Then why are you still with m-me." My voice cracked and his eyes softened.

"H-haley no! I didn't mean it like that! I didn't!" He sobbed and I spun around to face him.

"Well this is the SECOND time it has happened Ross. I gave you a chance, but this time I won't. I don't want to ever see you again." I'm not even going to talk to Ross again.

"H-haley please!" His voice came put as a cry causing me to let out a sob.

"Ross." Ellington's voice hissed. "Here now." He spat again and I saw Ross gulp. "Haley go away."

"But Ell-"

"I said go away!" He growled and I stormed back to the other end of the bus.

I could still hear the shouting and talking no matter how far away I was from them.

"Ross, mate or anything, that was so low! You told her to forget about her mum! She died Ross! " Ellington's voice only made me cry more. I wonder where Destiny is? I don't know but I don't feel like facing it right now.

"I didn't mean it like that." This time Ross' calmer voice mumbled.

"Well, then what did you mean it like that then? And what do you mean run away?" I would do anything to just turn back time right now. I covered my ears until I felt a pair of arms around me.

"R-rocky" I stammered and he nodded as I wrapped my arms around him. "W-we're not t-together a-anymore." No matter how many times I said it, the words still haunted me.

"Shhh, Shhh." Rocky soothed as I let out a sob and hugged him tightly. What would I do without someone like Rocky. Without someone like Rocky this world would suck. Suck even more than it already does, but people like Rocky, Riker, Rydel and Destiny make life so much.. happier.
