Chapter 57

Haley's POV

"Hey Ell." I smiled as my brother stood leaning over island on the bus. I don't think anybody else is awake apart from the driver obvoiusly. I got up to drink water but it turns out Ellington is still up.

There was no reply from him, only a few sniffles. "Ellington?" I asked making my way over to him.

Why was brother crying? What's happened? Who's done this? "What's wrong?" I asked but he wouldn't turn towards me. "Nothing is wrong." He looked away.

"I  know something is wrong Ellington, if you don't want to talk about this, it's okay, but you're going to tell someone sooner or later." I whispered.putting my hand on his arm. I don't want to see you brother like this.

"They want me to die." He mumbled out, I felt my stomach sink. Hate.

"Ellington, you can't listen to them, they're nothing but low life people who are jealous of you. These people don't know what they're talking about Ell, millions of people love you. They're just jealous of the talent and fame you have, you can't  listen to them." I noticed he was looking at me with teats in his eyes which made them all glossy and reminded me of mum.

The next thing I knew, I had pulled him in for a hug. Everything was going quick through my mind about Ellington, I was getting really worried. Damn, I shouldn't worry, it just make things worse.

"You can't leave us." I whispered and his grip tightened around me. "Don't worry, I-I won't go anywhere. " He sniffles.

"So Ell, what's happened with Rydel?" I asked and I saw a smile and a blush form onto his face.

"I really like her, I just haven't asked her out yet..."

"Well, you need to!!!" I squealed clapping my hands together.

"But when? I just can't go straight towards her and say-"

"Yes you can Ellington! I know you want to asle her!"

"But what happens if she says no!?"

I pulled a 'really' face towards him and folded my arms over my chest. "She loves you and you love her. You know that Ellington!"

I  was fighting against the smile on his face which kept tilting up every now and then.

"Now go ask her!"

"What? She's asleep."

"Wake her up."

"I'm not that annoying."

"No comment....just kidding anyway as soon as she wakes up then. "

"As soon as she wakes up." He agreed and I giggled. "Yayy!"

Rydel's POV

As I let out a small stretch and a yawn. I heard two people talking, so I decided to know who those persons were. I got out of my bunk landing on my feet and not on my bum like Haley did earlier,haha  that was funny! As I went to peek around the corner I heard voices.... Haley's and Ellington's. I know I shouldn't be curious but for some reason I couldn't help myself.

"Now go ask her!" Haley giggled. Ask who? Who was Ellington going to ask? Me? I have no idea.

"What? She's asleep." Ellington mumbled but there was a hint of excitement in his voice. Was he talking about me? I felt jealousy in my heart if it wasn't me, half of me is saying they're talking about someone else, and the other half is chanting 'Rydel, Rydel, Rydel!'

"Wake her up!" Haley replied.

"I'm not that annoying." Awww Ellington.

"No comment... just kidding anyway as soon as she wakes up then. " Haley laughed, so they're going to wake up a girl. Who is sleeping, to ask her something?

"As soon as she wakes up then." Ellinngton sighed and Haley clapped her hands together. "Yayyy!" I couldn't work out anything else they were saying but footsteps made me dart back to the bed, Riker probably got a foot in his mouth but well, it stopped him from snoring.

I ripped the covers over me and I heard someone clear their throat. "Rydel?" Rocky's voice laughed and I gasped. "Sorry Rocky!" I heard him let out a snort of laughter. Wrong bunk!

When I slowly jumped off I noticed Ellington standing looking at me. "I-i got the wrong bunk." I mumbled, a blush crawling up onto my face before he bursted out laughing, it stopped when Ross groaned for us to shut up, it came out as a slur making him sound drunk, but he was probably half aslepp.

"This is why I love you." Ell chuckled and I felt butterflies crawl in my stomach. He loves me? I never expected him to like me back.

His eyes went wide and and I saw him blush. "Ellington.." I whispered and the next thing I knew my lips were on his. I was kissing Ellington, this was amazing. It was only a small but sweet kiss and our heads leaned together after. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked, I let out a smile.

"Of course."
