Chapter 6

Haley's POV

1 week later

I was listening and singing Time Bomb by All Time Low, I've always loved that song, ever since it first came out. I would always be singing or  listening to it, and I never got tired of it. Once I had done with my makeup, I dried my hair until it was fully dried and I walked downstairs. "Hey you." Rocky tapped my head.

"Rockyyyy!!!!" I did the same to him and Ellington walked over with a serious expression. "Umm... Haley I need to tell you something." he wouldn't make eye contact with me, that made my smile fade away. "Oh...Okay." I said and followed him into the room where he shut the door behind him.  Wierd. Ellington never shuts the door.

"What happened Ellington?" I asked and felt wierd. A bad feeling...

"Haley... our house has been foreclosed, you know what that means?"  he sighed. "Yeah... I wasn't born yesterday." I said. That might sounded rude, but it wasn't.

"Look... the boys, Rydel and I have talked, since you're nineteen, we decided that you should come in the tour with us, so what'd you say?" he said with a hopeful smile.

I was going to say yes, but then it hit me, reality always comes in the way.

"No...Ell sorry, I can't" his smile dropped as I said that. "Why!? We want you to come!" he exclaimed.

"Ellington, I really want to, but I'll get in the way and stuff-"

"No! Where else would you go, I mean you're the only person in the family I have left....please come." 

"Okay, I'll go" I sighed.

"YES! YAY!!!!" he jumped. Oh my brother sometimes.

"Anyway, why did you look so unhappy earlier?" I asked. "Well, because other people are going to live in these house." he replied.

"Oh." I said, not really knowing how to react to that. Ellington threw his arm over me and squished me a little. "Ow!" I chuckled and he weakly smiled. " But, I have good news for you." he smiled.

"Tell me!"

"Nope, it's a surprise!" he laughed.

"Ugh, I hate you!"

"Love you too!" he smirked before we walked back to the kitchen.

"Haleyyyyyy!" Riker smiled from ear to ear. "Rikerrrrrrr!" I mimicked him. "Ross has something to tell you!" Riker pushed me towards Ross, who had a spoon half way into his mouth. "I do?" Ross' face turned into a bright red color and he ate the remaining cereal from his spoon and put it on the counter.

"Yeah! Ross you dooo!" Rocky teased him in a funny voice.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" he defended. "C'mon Ross, just tell her." Rydel said.

"Do it or I will!" Rocky exclaimed. "But I don't have anything to tell her!" Ross said

What did Ross wanted to tell me?

Rocky turned towards me and was about to say something, but Ross softly grabbed my shoulder. I felt tingles were his hand was. It was weird.

"Haley, don't listen to them, they're lying!" Ross jumped up and down. "Woah, guys what's happening in here?" Ellington walked in. AND MY BROTHER SAVES THE DAY!!!!

"ROSS LIKES H-"

"NO, I DON'T!" Ross started jumping again.

Rocky's word flickered through my mind. Ross likes H-.Ross likes someone. Why does it affects me so bad? It's not like I hace a crush on him or anything.

Wait a second.

I can't though? After what just happened a week ago, I could like him and just get hurt again. This is bad...really bad. I mean Ross is one of my brother's band mates. I don't care. Wait, what? Of course I care. I've just been cheated on and I may have a crush on someone I barely know.

"Who do you like... spill it Ross!" Ell excitedly spoke, pulling out a chair. He reminded me of some girl in high school, wanting to know the latest "gossip."

"She's nobody." Ross stubbornly folded his arms and looked at me making me feel butterflies.

"What was that?" Ellington asked. "What was w-what?" Ross stuttered. "When you looked at her" he said. "What are you talking about Ell? He wasnpt looking at me, you made a mistake." I quickly helped Ross.

"Are you sure?" Ellington nervously laughed and I nodded. "I am." I replied. "Sorry Ross... but still all of the boys stay off my sister." Ell apologized to Ross, but then looked around all the boys and they nodded. 

"Um... I gotta go now." Ross quickly rushed off and went straight to the front door.

"Where's he going?" I asked and all the boys and Rydel shrugged in union. Freaky much!?!?. "Who knows with Ross, he'll  be back soon." Riker spoke dramatically like it was some kind of movie or something like that.
