Ghost Hunt Fanfic ●ᴥ● [Finished]

I Have to do the Exorcism?!

I walked there silently back with Naru and Lin. I felt guilty, I wanted to help them so much...but it happened to quick for anyone to notice..

We walked into base. Naru walked to his bag and pulled out a book. He began to read. Lin just went to his computer and went on typing.

Why are they acting so calm about this? Aren't they worried?!

I walked to my sketch pad which was laying on the table.

"It looks like something was on this..." I muttered quietly to myself. "Well at least most of the pages didn't get harmed."

I grabbed my pencil and started to write instead of sketching. 

"Naru, come look at this.." Lin said flatly. Naru did what he was told and closed his book and walked up to Lin.

I put my sketchbook down and just watched them....

"The hell?" Naru questioned.

"Mai come" Naru muttered as he charged out the door. I got up and quickly went after them.

I don't know where were going but I felt uneasy about it. We all headed upstairs again and we entered a room. It was just a plain old hospital room, though I didn't want to be here....

"W-we should go...!" I panicked.

They both ignored me....(figures.)

The room went pitch black dark, banging and scratching noises began. (Oh no...)

A few minutes later everything was normal and it was just me and Naru. The girl was standing behind us, though shes not going away. She started to run this way, the only thing I did was grab Naru by the arm an pulled him out of the room and started to run away.

"Mai what are you doing?" Naru asked as hes almost being dragged on the floor.

"The girl! She's after us!" I shouted. 

Naru took a glimpse behind him and he noticed the girl starting to zoom through the hallways.

Naru got out of my grasp and started to run next to me. "What ever you do don't get separated..." Naru said.

I wanted to yell at him because i'm not stupid, but I just ignored it. 

(Then... ^-^)

My body started to tingle, like it didn't want me to go with him...It wanted me to stay back and go towards her. I tried to fight that feeling as hard as I could. Then I found myself running faster, my mind was going out of wack....

"Mai!" Naru called out to me...

I found myself in a closed space, it was dangerous to....Sharp objects surrounded me. AND I LEFT NARU FOR NO REASON!

Everything went black...

"Where am I?" I muttered to myself. I turned around and there he was...

"Gene..."

The same glistening smile he always gave me when I had my dreams...

"What happened?" I asked.

Gene pointed downwards and I saw Naru...Naru was collapsed on the ground just sitting there. He looked so relaxed. 

"Everyone!" 

Gene nodded.

"So they were just taken away..."

"Mai, say "Yes I will" please" Gene said with a somewhat sorrow tone.

I was confused but I did. "Yes I will..."

"Great!" he cheered.

"Your going to have to do the exorcism to save your friends...and my brother" Gene explained, looking down at him.

"WAIT WHAT?!", "I CAN''T DO THAT!" I shouted.

"You said you will" he chuckled.

I glared at him...."But how can I do that?"

"I'll explain it to you once you wake up..."
