The Cellar o-o

OKAY SO! I'M GOING EXTREMELY OVERBOARD WITH THIS FANFIC XD

I TRY TO DO SOMETHING MORE DRAMATIC INSTEAD OF JUST LOVEY DOVEY STUFF ^-^

SO, THE CELLAR IS GOING TO BE FUN HEHEHEHE

(I know i'm crazy....)

THIS IS WHERE I MAKE UP A LOT OF STUFF! AGAIN I WANT TO MAKE IT MORE DRAMATIC AND NOT COPY ANYONE SO ENJOY!!!!!!! 

ALSO I DO NOT OWN GHOST HUNT, IF I DID OBVIOUSLY IT WOULD BE LIKE THIS!

As i got done rummaging through the burnt wood and broken furniture I noticed a handle peaking through the ground.

I slowly placed my hand on it and pulled the handle with all my might!

The door lead me to an underground room, i'm guessing the basement....Everyone watched me go down the stairs and soon enough they followed. As I was walking down this creepy room, I noticed a little light or something shining in the corner of the room.

I walked towards it and noticed it was a box with a little key dangling on the side. I hesitantly grabbed the key and placed it in the small lock.

*Click* 

I heard a soft click and quickly opened the box.

The first thing I saw was a little box and an envelope, so I grabbed them and set them aside...I saw something that looked like it was packaged with newspaper and tons of papers on the bottom. I took those out and and examine them.

I took a long sigh and placed them back inside the big box they were originally in and walked upstairs, everyone stared at me confused and followed me up.

"Mai....Uh...What is that?" Bou-san hesitantly asked. 

"Yeah Mai, what's in the box?" Yasuhara added excitedly.

As I got back to this gloomy scenery of my now dead childhood, sadness grew inside of me, making my heart ache. I made my body stiff and turned back to them, who were now looking at me in concern. Trust me, I don't know what's going on either.....

All I could do now was think, and stare up at the pastel sky above me....

"I'll check the stuff more later, though, I don't exactly know what it is, or why it's here to begin with." I explained to them sternly. Everyone looked at each other, then back to me, all of us were confused.

Surprisingly I thought Naru or Lin would come, but I was wrong...

"Well Mai, you should erm..." Masako spoke up.

"Do what?!"

"You should discuss what's inside that box with him....when we go at least." She finished. 

"Uh....Okay..."

(Why was she hesitating like that?), (Agh whatever I should be thinking about this...)

"Well I guess I should be going then, c'ya!" I waved to them as I carefully stepped out of the rubble beneath my feet.

They walked out as well and said their farewells, they all turned to the opposite direction, talking about whatever. Again I took a long deep sigh and headed back to Naru's, gripping strongly onto this mysterious box.

As I walked towards the entrance of the house, I felt someone or something watching me. I quickly jerked around and scanned the area, though no one was in sight. I turned away and entered the house. "Naru?" I questioned as I walked in.

There was no response so I quickly looked around. I checked the living room, the kitchen, closet, everything but nowhere to be found. "Must've left to go somewhere" I muttered.

"WAIT A SECOND HIS ROOM!" I shouted. 

I darted upstairs and walked towards his room. As I got to his door I placed my ear against it just incase I could hear something from inside. I sat there for a few minutes but it was quiet as a mouse. I gripped the knob and opened the door slightly and peeked through. 

I scanned the area of the room, it was pretty dark for some reason....It looked like no one was inside so I slipped in and walked around.

"Wow..." I muttered. 

Note: They switched rooms after the incident, sorry I didn't add it during the story but they made an extra room for Naru :P Your welcome >:3 DIDN'T WANT NARU LAYING ON THE COUCH ALL THE TIME!

"It looks amazing...I'm glad Naru is sleeping on an actual bed now..."

*Clink*

"Ah!". I heard a clink like noise, like if someone was setting down a plate or cup on a table. I looked to my left and saw a figure sitting in the corner of the room.

"Naru?!?!?!" I bolted towards the silent figure. 

"WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER ME WHEN I CAME IN!" I shouted.

"Had no reason...besides I like it quiet so can you go away, or is it something important..." He muttered as he closed his book.

"It's important!"

"Fine....turn on the light" he sighed.

I walked back towards the door and turned on the light. After I did so, I walked back to him.

"What's that?" He asked curiously.

I explained what happened at my burned down house and he gave me quite a concern look. "Well this will probably help me not explain what I have to talk to you about later." He chuckled. 

"Give it" he demanded.

Without hesitation I did and he looked through all the papers and letters. His faced turned into more of an awe look than curiosity or concern. Naru then grabbed the box and looked inside. He held out a necklace and handed it to me. "What's that?" I asked.

"I don't know but here's a note..." Naru replied.

After saying so, he read the note.

Both of our eyes widened and I fell to the ground in shock.

(What do you mean by that?!)
