Ghost Hunt Fanfic ●ᴥ● [Finished]

Mai gets help...

I kept choking on the stuff going through my neck, all the spit, saliva, and blood kept pouring out of my mouth. I heard soft footsteps running down the hall, multiple people? That means Masako got to them safely! 

The door swung open and Masako and Naru were in view. 

"Mai!"Everyone shouted worryingly.

They all ran up to me, analyzing me head to toe...John kneel down and slowly pulled the needle out of my neck. 

"Hey, there's still some of this stuff left" John told Lin as he handed him the needle full of that death, sickening thing....Lin took it and placed it in his pocket. 

"She was drugged, but it looks like this happened again recently" Masako explained with a sad tone in her voice.

Naru carefully picked her up and started to carry her to base. While they were walking they bumped into the doctor. 

"Oh my what happened to her?" He asked.

"Shes been drugged....twice" Masako said calmly. 

"I'll fix her up... don't worry!, here let me take her" The doctor held out his hands and Naru placed me in the doctors arms.

Again me staring at the ceiling...

My vision started to bounce from great to just white...something about this guy gave me an uneasy feeling...probably because of what just happened, I don't know. The scenery changed, I was in a different room obviously, the doctor set me down on those bed things. I felt a sharp pain go through my arm.

"Don't worry its just an IV needle." he said calmly. Then the doctor grabbed a rag out of his pocket and wiped all the saliva and blood off of me. I felt my blood circulating through my body, and like it was going to BURST out of my body....

"Lay here for awhile until the meds kick in, someone is going to come by so nothing happenes alright?"

"I.....I w-w-want to s-see th..em," I took a deep breath, "I want t-to s-stay w...w-with th..em" I muttered softly.

The doctor sighed, he couldn't ignore her pleading so he decided to leave and went to Naru's base. "Naru, i'm bringing Mai here alright?" The doctor gave him a serious but worried look. Naru sighed and told him fine. The doctor left the room and went to where Mai was. When he entered the room, Mai was really pale. He quickly ran up to her, calling her name but she wouldn't say anything.

He checked her pulse, it was low than normal. "Over dosed" The doctor said angrily. He sat there messing with the IV monitor and then soon enough she somewhat got color back into her. She was dehydrated....

The doctor sighed in relief and grabbed Mai. Then with a free hand he carried the IV monitor. They both headed to base.

The doctor lay Mai on the table real quick since they didn't have a bed to lay in. He ran to the other room and grabbed the portable hospital beds and rushed back to base.

He set up the bed and lay Mai on it, soon he plugged the IV into the outlet. Everyone just stared at Mai, then to Masako who had a very guilty like expression on her face.

"It..It was my fault..shes like this..." Masako muttered..."If she didn't have to push me out of the way, and if I didn't leave her there like that, she would've been fine" Masako started to shove her hands to her face and started to cry.

John tried to comfort her, he hated to see Masako sad because its not like her..                              "It'll be alright, you did the right thing...She saved you, so don't feel guilty for her actions." John whispered, wiping her tears from her eyes.

"Thanks, now...Naru, everyone...we have to exercise this spirit soon...For Mai's and everyone's sake." Masako demand with confidence.

Everyone nodded and went to work...
