Already Fighting

I woke up at three in the morning to the sound of laughter coming from the kitchen. I moved my hand over to the side where Justin was sleeping, but he was gone. I felt abandoned when I wasn't around him and it was driving me crazy. I pulled on my peach, satin robe and headed out of our room to the stairwell. The closer to the kitchen I got the louder the laughter got. Evelyn. Gosh, that girl makes me so pissed. I couldn't help but feel that annoying emotion again. Jealousy. Sighing I walked down the stair, straight into the kitchen. Evelyn was sitting on a bar stool at the kitchen counter, while Justin was leaning on the opposite side of the counter. The two both had a cup of coffee in their hands. I almost growled when I saw Evelyn in her tiny, booty shorts and strappy tank top. She was leaning over and twirling her hair, but Justin was totally oblivious. Finally, Justin noticed me standing at the staircase.

"Brianna! Are you ok? Why are you up?"

"Yeah...I just came downstairs because I heard laughing. I was just curious", I said walking over to snuggled myself into Justin. Justin immediately let me in and placed an arm around me. Evelyn, who was obviously frustrated, rolled her eyes.

"So...Eveyln.... Did you want to ride with Justin and I to school?"

Glaring at me she replied,"No thanks. I have my own car."

And with that she got up and left. I was trying my hardest to me nice to the girl. Honestly, I think everyone would have to take time to process the your soul mate somehow knocked up another girl.

As soon as I couldn't smell her scent anymore I turned to Justin."God damn it, Justin! That girl is already being snobby. If you can't put her in her rightful place then I will do it myself. She's the one who decided to try and steal another girl's mate. Now she wants to be bitchy towards. Control her, Justin. I'm not going to put up with her everyday."

"Come on, Brianna. I can't just throw her out. She's carrying my baby. I need to make sure nothing happens to them."

I slammed my fists on the counter,"Give me a break! What happens after the baby is born. She can't stay here forever! She needs to find a place and move on. I'm not spending the rest of my life living with her in our house. Can't you see that she thinks she's going to stay here until the end of her days. She's totally dependent on you!"

"You need to respect me! If I think that she should stay, then she does! Your opinion doesn't matter, Brianna. I am Alpha. Even if I am your mate, I am still your Alpha.", he growled.

"Your so pathetic! Open your eyes, Justin. This girl has in her mind that you always be there for her. What about our children! What about our lives together! She will be the one to ruin our relationship! And do you know who is to blame? You! You are the one to blame! This wouldn't even have happened if you could have kept it in you freaking pants!"

I was tired and angry. I didn't know how he would react and I sure as hell didn't want to see. I quickly turned away and made my way to the staircase.

"Brianna. Please Brianna. Can't we just talk about this."

Was he serious?

"What do you think I have been trying to do! You're in your own little world. How about this? Why don't you sleep on the couch. Oh, better yet why don't you just go join Evelyn in her bed. I bet you two will enjoy each other's company."

I walked back up the other half of the stairs. Acting as if nothing had happened. I could still hear him calling my name, but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of me giving in. Going through the office I went into our room. I grabbed a pillow and warm blanket and threw it in front of the bedroom door. Then after locking the door I got into bed. I was hugging my pillow, imaging it was Justin. I remember smelling scent of soft cologne and Irish Springs body wash.

"Brianna! Brianna, open the door!", he continually banged on the door.

I fell asleep to him calling my name. Eventually he did stop hitting the door, but his sweet scent never left the door. Not once.
