Chapter Three

Maya POV

I get dressed and head towards the Matthew's house.

I also see Farkle along the way.

"Lady."

"Farkle."

"It's Maya."

"And Farkle!"

They buzz us in.

We eat some cereal and quickly head off to school.

"How was your date Maya!" Riley asks in pure excitement.

"It was pretty decent." I say showing no emotion.

"Oh come on! Decent? And do you have any feelings towards him?" She asks wiggling her eyebrows.

I laugh a little at her.

"I'm sorry but I don't."

"Awww." She says a does a pouty face.

We head towards history and take our seats.

"Hey Clutterbucket. How was your date?" Lucas asks me.

"It was decent." I say, giving him the same answer I gave to Riley.

He looks at Riley.

"She gave me the same answer too. Don't worry."

We continue on with the day.

We head towards the cafeteria.

Once we get our food, Riley speaks up.

"Lucas?"

"Yes?" He says giving her his signature smile.

"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?"

"Sure thing."

"What?"

That was Riley's dad.

Uh-oh.

He points at Lucas.

"You! You are not going on a date with my daughter!"

"But daaaaad!" Riley whines.

"Riles. Don't worry, I have a plan for you." I whisper in her ear.

"Thanks! You're the best Maya!"

"I know." I say smiling a bit.
