Chapter Thirty-Two

RECAP:

Riley ran off by herself near a tree due to Lucas liking Maya.

A boy comes over and expresses his feelings for her but she closed her eyes and doesn't know who.

She opens her eyes and sees who it is.

I open my eyes and see Charlie Gardener.

I break the kiss and look around frantically and wipes my mouth.

"Why would you do that?" I asked in a whisper voice.

"Because I like you." He answers back in almost a 'duh' tone.

"Why? Why do you like me?" I asked as she layed down on the tree.

"I kind of just told you why before I kissed you."

"I don't want anyone to know we kissed, okay? It was an accident. You don't like me." I sighed.

"Why? Why can't I like you? I know about you. We're perfect for eachother." He said as he furrowed his brows.

"We can never ever become a couple." I said in the harshest tone I can muster.

"Why? Give me one proper reason then I'll leave."

"Because..." I start, hoping to find a reason.

"See!" He says with a smirk.

I keep racking my brain for reasons.

"Tsk tsk Ms. Matthews. You couldn't find a reason? That means I am allowed to do this. Again." He said as he leaned in closer.

He kept leaning towards me and I kept leaning back.

He kept going until I was trapped.

He pressed his lips onto mine once again.

It felt terrible.

I looked around wanted to call someone for help.

My eyes landed on a boy standing mear a door.

He had a sad look on his face.

He turned around and walked back to where he originally was.

I realized that the boy was Farkle.
