Maya POV

The next few weeks were awkward.
Riley, Farkle, Lucas and I all had to work together for a project.
"Soooo...." I drag out, trying to fill in the silence.
No one spoke up.
I slammed my hands on the table.
"We have to get this project done so continue ignoring me when this is done!" I yell in frustration.
Riley sighs.
"I guess then. Well what do you want to do for this project?" She asks eyeing Lucas and Farkle but not me.
I put my forehead on the table.
I feel like crying.
I didn't kiss him back or anything.
He kissed me.
Why didn't she understand?
I look up at them.
They were all staring at me.
"What?" I ask in frustration.
"You were crying." Riley says, pointing at my eyes.
"I wasn't. I just felt like it." I say shrugging my shoulders.
For the rest of the class period, we worked on our projcet.
Once the bell rang, someone grabbed my arm and put their mouth next to my ear.
"Tell me what happened Maya."
Farkle.
