Chapter Six:

Its been a three weeks since Taylor and I went on our first date and now we are actually dating. He’s the first boyfriend I’ve had since Dylan. Taylor is amazing. We’ve been hanging out almost everyday and I’ve been talking to Julie lots. A few nights ago Taylor and I went dancing again and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was extremely happy when he asked me that I starting kissing him like crazy on the dance floor.

We spend most nights together talking and looking up at the stars. I haven’t been to his house yet, but that’s because part of it is being renovated(but is almost done) and Taylor doesn’t want me to get hurt. He has reason. I’m a total klutz, but he already knows that.

“Holly! Are you coming?” Taylor shouts.

“Yeah! Where is my board?”

“Right here.” he says pointing to my board which is laying next to his. “And you are not getting on that thing after last time.”

I run over to him and hug him. “Please?” I beg him.

“Nope. But you are coming with me.”

“What?” he picks me up bride-style and runs into the water.

“Don’t you dare let go of me.”

He lets go of me in the water. “Oops.”

“Taylor!” I hit the water with my hands. I swim over to him and get on his back. “Jerk.”

“Oh if I’m a jerk then why are you holding onto me so tight?”

“So I don’t fall, duh!”

“Now what would happen if I did this?” he leans backwards.

“Don’t even think about it!”

“Too late!” he leans all the way back and I let go. I swim around him. Once in front of him I grab his arms and put them around my waist.

“What are you doing?” he asks. I put my hands on his shoulders and jump onto him so that my legs are wrapped around his waist. I then wrap my arms around his neck.

“Holly what the hell are you doing?” Taylor says.

“What’s it look like?” I start kissing him. He carries me out of the water and up the beach to our towels. He gives me my towel and I put it around myself. He hands me his and I put it around his shoulders.

“What do you want to do?” he asks.

“I’m fine with this.” I kiss him.

“Okay, I like that idea.” he kisses me back. Taylor stands on the deck holding me around my waist kissing me.

“Ehm.” someone clears their throat. Taylor and I stop kissing and he puts me down. I look to see who it is and its Kyle.

“So Holly,” Kyle looks at me. “Do you have plans for tonight?”

“Um, no I don’t. Why?”

“I wanted to know, if you want to do something with me?”

“Sure, sounds fun. Taylor has to leave soon, so we’ll talk in a little bit?”

“Yeah.” I smile and pull Taylor upstairs to my room.

“Why is it that you always drag me up here after we go swimming?”
