~Brinley's POV

Pain is an inward emotion and an outward feeling. Pain is different for everyone and it is hard to know what could cause someone pain. They say your parents know what pains you most and will do anything to stop it from happening to you. However you get the sick parents the ones that will use it against you and smile at the sight of it.

Sitting at home was a rarity for me, I would always try and find someplace different to stay. Whether it was a slight strangers place or in a park I would go anywhere to escape.

Codie: B?

It was only 7am and I jumped when I received the text quickly rushing to see if it was someone I could get out of this house with.

Brinley: Yeah? xxx

Codie: You wanna go out and shop? xxx

Brinley: Yeah defiantly is now okay?xxx

Codie: Sure they should be just opening, I'll meet you there we can get something to eat after?xxx

I quickly pulled on a jacket, some shoes and grabbed my bag. I walked into town and got to the entrance of the shopping centre where I was meeting Codie.

"Hey Brin!" She shouted and I turned around smiling at her.

"Let's shop!" She smiled and I chuckled at her enthusiasm. We walked around the centre ending up with bags from Topshop, River Island, Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret. She mainly talked about what she wanted to buy but then she got into the topic of last night and what happened when I left.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me about that dïck forcing himself at you. I mean we've been friends since reception b?" I sighed and looked up at her,

"I didn't think it was important," I said shrugging not wanting him to get in any more trouble because of me,

"Of course it is! If anyone ever does that it's important, he deserved what he got."

"Did he?" I whispered and she frowned at me,

"What?"

"Let's eat?" I quickly answered and we headed to KFC.

As we walked into the empty KFC mine and Codies eyes locked as we saw who was behind the counter,

"I guess I'll go save a table while you order?" She said and I furrowed my eyebrows

"Are you being serious number one there's no one here and number two you aren't leaving me to go on my own," I looked over and he was staring obviously able to hear me since no one was here, "and number three he can hear us," I whispered and we walked over.

"You two are still loud as fück when your talking about someone," he joked slightly laughing. I smiled in return and ordered looking over at Codie who was now pale and had guilt all over her face.

Ashton looked back at us and bit his lip looking at Codie, he brought us our food and we went and sat down eating in silence as she stared down. I sighed loudly and she looked up at me,

"Why don't you just sort things out?"

"Why now? There's no point we left it too long and you know the rules!"

"Yeah and now we know how serious they are."

"This is different though I care about Ashton you didn't care about that fückboy. I'll always care about Ashton," she whispered the last part and smiled at her trying to make her feel better.

"I just don't know what I feel?" She said so only I could hear.

"What do you mean?"

"I wish that the night in the forest never happened but then it brought us seven together, I wish that maybe that night Ashton could have come out earlier but then I'm happy he didn't have to go through what we did," she explained and I grabbed her hand squeezing it in reassurance, "I wish we spoke to him when we had a chance instead of leaving him not knowing why we cut him out,"
