~Brinley's POV

Your mind can tell you lies and you will believe them. Your memories of the past can completely deceive you and you will completely believe it with no recognition of the truth. You can have false memories but most of your false memories of the past firm because of alcohol or drugs something which tricks the brain into believing lies.

That's what happened to Ashton he was deceived by the drug that took over his brain and body. The memories he had of that night was a complete lie and I knew that for a fact.

After I left Ashtons I was beyond mad and went home straight away and to my surprise no one was in again. I sighed and went to my room incase my dad come home,

Calumhood: Why were you at Ashtons?

I chose to ignore him as it was what was best for him but he wouldn't leave the situation,

Calumhood: So you ignore me but then go to his house?

Calumhood: Do the rules not apply to him?

Calumhood: Because you know Ashton isn't a 'popular' or did you forget that..

Calumhood: Is there something going on between you two?

I tried my hardest to ignore him but for some reason I felt my hands start to type the message,

Brin.slinton_x: Number 1 no there is nothing going on between me and him nothing ever will and nothing ever did, and number 2 you don't understand it is different with Ashton he was my friend and I don't even know you?

Calumhood: Right..yeah. Your right you don't good bye Brinley x

And I left it at that before rolling over to sleep since I had no sleep pattern it wasn't too hard, but there was something that played on my mind as I tried to drift off.

~Calum's POV

I came to realisation at that moment realisation that I didn't know her, I knew the rumours and that's it. I wanted to know her though and I know that there's something inside her that wants to know me she just hasn't realised it yet.

I know it sounds big headed of me but I could see how she felt, I saw through her emotionless eyes and realised that there was something more to her than everyone saw and rumoured. She was just scared, scared of the truth and scared of her feelings like they would make her weaker and vulnerable but they just made her human.

She needed someone to help her escape, they all needed just one person and if that one person could get in then they could escape. Thing is they wouldn't let anyone in so they were trapped forever.

After Ashton's I didn't want to speak to anyone, she lied to me and I believed her because I was so fücking intoxicated by her.

Calumhood: Thanks for the lie brinley...

Brin.slinton_x: What are you talking about Calum?

Calumhood: Are you calling me calum instead of fückboy because you feel sorry for me being such an idiot with a stupid crush that's changed the way I think...

Brin.slinton_x: No I don't know what your talking about?

Calumhood: I forgot you don't feel guilt

Brin.slinton_x: What the fück are you talking about calum why did I lie?

Calumhood: I know about you and Ashton..

There was a few minutes before she replied,

Brin.slinton_x: I'm going to kill him!

Calumhood: So you admit it then....
