Today. Today is the day that I declare my love for Jai.
The day that everyone that I love witnesses how much I love Jai.
The day when I go from one last name to another.
The day I can actually say that Jai is mind forever, or I hope I can say that.
But it also brings me a lot of emotions.
I'm excited but nervous. Happy but sad.
"Heather?" I heard my little sister Ashley from the door frame.
I turned around.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Wow! You look so beautiful" she walked in and closed the door behind her.
"Thanks" I smiled.
"Mom would be proud"
"I'm just sad she couldn't come"
"When are you putting your dress on?" She asked.
"In a few."
"Alright, I'll see you in a bit." She said.
I nodded my head.
My stylist had finished with my makeup and hair. I was currently sitting down on my bed waiting for it to be two.

As I was putting on my dress there was a knock on the door.
"Come in" I said.
I was struggling to hold the thing in place. I look through the mirror.
I turn around shocked.
"Hey sweetie" she smiled at me.
"Mom" I smiled. "If I could run without this dress falling I would but I can't"
"Here let me help you out" she said.
I turned around so she can fix the back.
"You look beautiful, Jai is a lucky one." She said.
I smiled at her through the mirror.
"I'm the lucky one" I said.
"I'm so happy for you and I know everything between you two will be just fine"
"Thanks mom"
She fixed the back of my dress and I was set to go.
There was another knock on the door.
It was my friend Genesis.
"Dayumm! A hot bride alert!" She winked at me.
I laughed.
"I just wanted to tell you that Hazel is in good hands." She said. "She'll be with me and Rose"
"Thanks you guys! You have no idea how much this means to me."
"Don't worry about her, she'll be with baby Jess"
Jess was her daughter that's almost one year old.
