"Not all scars show, not all wounds heal, sometimes you can't always see the pain someone feels." ~ Unknown.

Henry was working on sewing back up a body when Samuel Treen stormed into the morgue. He put down his bloodied needle and waited expectantly for his boss to speak; beside him Evan copied his movements.

"Morgan, my office now!" Treen roared, completely ignoring Evan at the moment until Henry's assistant made the mistake of bumping a table. "Hale, get this cleaned up and report upstairs!"

"Yes sir!" Evan rushed to complete his task.

Henry silently followed Lieutenant Treen into the elevator, his boss would tell him what was wrong when they got to the office. Jo looked up as they walked by and Henry sent her a look that mentally asked if she knew what it was about, which of course she didn't. Treen shut the office door and shut the blinds before sitting down and motioning Henry to take a seat across from him. He complied and gave his boss an expectant look.

Treen seemed to study him for a moment before sighing to calm himself a bit. "Jaylyn Carver has been missing for a week, correct, yes. Yet when I went into her files to change her status guess what I saw?"

Henry wasn't sure what Treen had seen but it obviously hadn't been good. "What?"

"Nothing." His voice sounded like daggers. "There wasn't even a trace of her existence. I even got the computer geeks over here and they couldn't find her either. According to them the only file on her is a death certificate."

Well that didn't sound good, why would Jaylyn do that? Henry was frowning lightly in thought for a few moments. "Have you tried contacting her about it?"

Samuel Treen gave him the do you think I'm stupid look. "I didn't get anything."

"Have you gone to see her in person?" Henry wasn't too concerned with the fact Jaylyn wasn't answering, the fact her records were wiped off the grid was the concerning part.

"Let me finish." Treen snarled as he stood up. "After I found out she disappeared I received a call, guess what I found out?"

Henry shrugged, not liking his boss's actions. "A threat?"

"I wish." He walked over to him with fury burning in his gaze. "A man told me my family was dead... I thought it was just a threat until they sent me a picture of their skinned bodies."

Now that was a reason to react like he was, Henry stood up to get a better look as Treen pulled out his phone to show him. "That's..."

"I don't know who the man was, but I'm sure Carver had something to do with it... she always was a wild card, what, with hating my family and all." He put his phone away. "Though I had hoped we put all of that behind us, it's not like I was the one who murdered her, her parents, and her sisters. I have never tried to wipe out anyone's blood line!"

"Shouldn't we go to the crime scene to catch the man?" Henry asked before waiting for Lieutenant Treen to snap at him.

The youngest immortal only nodded. "Yes, get Jo and go to my house... please don't tell me what you've found unless it's necessary... I can't- can't deal with it at the moment."

"I understand." He replied before leaving.

"One last thing." Treen growled. "Bring me Jaylyn Carver, I want her to pay for what she's done."

Henry knew Treen couldn't do anything too bad to Jaylyn, not legally of course, so he nodded in agreement and left the office to get Jo.
