I thought about everything Helena warned us about. The mate thing had to be correct but I had trust that Zion...
Maybe I had my doubts,deep down there was this nagging feeling that wouldn't leave me alone.
Zion sat on the bed and I passed him a bottle of water.
"What did you think about what Helena said?"
Zion shrugged "Nothing I dont really believe it..it feels as if she wants me as far away from you."
Anais nodded "Sorry your mother wasnt who you thought she was.."
Zion shook his head "Don't be..im glad shes not who I thought she was..proves who was really around for me."
Anais took his hand which was hot "whoa."
"Yea..I feel really tired..I guess the transformation never wore off."
Anais smiled "Dont worry get some rest..."
"It was supposed to be our day together."
Anais shrugged "Your health is more important."

The next day..

Anais woke up in the library a book sprawled on the floor."God I feel bad."
She stood up slowly her heart beating hard against her chest,this was not normal,but she wasnr normal she was a wolf that couldnt transform.
"Anais."
Helena stood by the doorway and Anais could only see a blurry image of her.
"Im sure the after effects are happening soon."
"What.." Anais leaned against a shelf and Zion was next to her red and warm,thick in her veins,the scent strong in her lungs.
Zions eyes were dark and she stood back,it had to be a dream and then Zion lunged at her and she woke up.

But she felt the same and she was sleeping beside Zion,he was already awake and had stroked her feverish cheek.
"I got worried you fell asleep at the library and I carried you."
"But your sick."
"I feel better now just still the same fever."
He shrugged and then gazed at me "But I cant say the same for you...I think I got you sick.."
He scratched his head and pressed water to Anaiss lips.
"Sorry..."
"For what?"
The heat of their bodies were close that their heat mixed into each other and Anais layed her head on his chest.
"Well I feel hot still but my head isn't thrashing against my skull at least."
She smiled and closed her eyes,the intoxicating smell hit her and she pressed her lips against his bare stomach and she froze.
What did I just do..?
Anais gazed up at Zion who was already gazing into her eyes.
Anais jumped up out of bed nearly falling but Zion catched her and pressed his lips on her's hungrily.
"Z-Zion.."
He pulled her back on the bed her entire body was on fire by the impact of his hands trailing around her neck and her back.
She closed the space between them and she heard a low growl and he moved to remove her shirt."S-stop!" She moved away,she could tell her face was flushed,what had she done?
Zion backed away eyes wide "Im sorry Anais..."
Anais shook her head "No..I...im sorry..I.."

She turned away from him "Let me go bring you something to eat.."

Anais nodded and she moved from the bed to the bathroom what scared her wasn't that Zion kissed her..but was that she didn't want him to stop.
She took a long cold shower and brushed her teeth after that she combed her hair,her body didn't hurt as much...this must have been what Helena was talking about..the heat.

Anais washed her face with her lavender face wash and gazed into her own reflection and she went out the bathroom.Zion had turned on T.V to netflix and he took a bite out of his waffles.
My stomach grumbled and he passed me my plate of waffles with whip cream,my eyebrows furrowed up and in maple syrup he wrote the words Im Sorry.
I smiled and shook my head and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Loser."
He shrugged "Really I am..I guess I got carried away.."
"Don't worry about it..I guess we both did.."
He stopped and flipped the channel to something else "Can I ask something?Do you still think of me like your big brother."

Anais sat on the bed and she shook her head "I don't know what to think..."

"I understand if your confused but..I guess it is uncomfortable being told that I wasn't your brother but your finance..and ma-"
Anais lost her hunger and shrugged "Im gonna go outside for a bit.."
Zion half smiled "Okay..."
He lost his control..he regretted it.
