Chapter 15 : Threatened

Anna

I walked back into the ballroom with Hans, but I couldn't help but only think about what Jack said, Elsa is in trouble.

I wanted to make an excuse so I could leave, but Hans is just so dreamy that I couldn't make myself say the words.

After an hour, but what seemed like minutes, Hans said he had to leave and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I couldn't help but blush as I watched him walk away.

But then I snapped out of my dream and realized I have to do something about Elsa.

I walked up to Rapunzel who had just finished dancing with Eugene.

" Rapunzel, " I said tapping her on the shoulder and getting her to turn around.

" Yes? " she asked, giving me a bright smile.

" I was wondering if you could help me, because you're one of the only people I know, " I said crossing my fingers hoping that she says yes, " I need you to come on a little bit of an adventure with me. "

Her eyes lit up, " I would love to! And I'm sure Eugene would be honoured to come to if you'll have him, " she said.

" I would? " he asked, but Rapunzel elbowed him in the side and he tried again, " I would. "

" That would be awesome, the more the better! " I said, grateful that they want to help.

" Wait, did I hear you guys say adventure? " I heard a Scottish voice say behind me, " I'm Merida and I'm in. "

" Okay, nice to meet you, " I said as I shook her hand.

I felt a strong hand on my shoulder and turned to see the big Viking from before.

" Excuse me, but does this adventure have to do with battles and becoming a warrior? Because if so my son needs to practise, " he said pushing forward the young man standing next to him.

" Great! I could use everyone's help, " I said.

The coronation party officially ended, and all who were left was Rapunzel, Eugene, Merida, Hiccup and I.

Jack was there too, but nobody knew that..... yet.

" Okay, before we can go any where, I need you guys to believe in something with me, " I said and they all nodded their heads.

Jack gave me back the book and I read them the chapter about the Winter Spirit, ending off with Seeing is Believing.

Rapunzel was the first to understand and closed her eyes, when she opened them she was staring directly at Jack.

" I'm Jack Frost, " he said and stuck out his hand to shake hers.

Rapunzel crossed the space between them and shook his hand, the others gasped.

" Where did she go? " Eugene asked.

I looked at him confused, " What are you talking about, she's right here, " I said pointing to her beside me.

She let go of Jack's hand and everyone gasped again.

"Punzie! " Eugene exclaimed, " You just vanished into thin air! "

" Eugene, " she said, grabbing his arm to try and calm him down, " Just believe. "

He looked confused so Rapunzel kept talking to him, but Merida realized what to do and came over to meet Jack.

It took quite awhile, but after an hour or two Hiccup and Eugene were persuaded that we weren't crazy and actually started believing that Jack existed.

Once everyone believed Jack told us all about Elsa and Dr. Black and how he used Elsa talking to Jack to call her crazy.

He explained that only people who believed he existed could see him, and how he could fly, also how if you touched him then anyone who didn't believe couldn't see you.

Then he finally got down to the important part, helping Elsa.

" So, as I was saying I- " Jack started, but was cut off.

" Wait, you can actually fly? I didn't see that one coming, why can you fly? " Eugene asked, looking confused.

" I don't know since I can remember I could always fly, " Jack explained, shrugging his shoulders like no big deal.

"Anyways, what about Elsa? " I asked, trying to get him back on track.

" Right, " Jack said.

He went on to explain to everyone that Elsa wasn't actually sick or crazy.

" How do we know your telling the truth? " Merida questioned, narrowing her eyes at Jack.

" Well, I'm not sure, " he said scratching his head, " But what would I have to gain by making this up? "

Merida seemed to be satisfied by his answer, so we all got to work on a plan.

Elsa

I focused my powers on trying to break the chains I was in, but it didn't appear to be doing anything but creating frost around me.

After what seemed like forever I finally heard a crack by my hands. I looked down to see cracks in the metal from the low temperatures I was creating.

I slowly pried the handcuffs open and was able to slip them off.

With the excitement of being free from my chains I almost didn't hear the footsteps coming closer.

As fast as I could I slipped the broken restraints back on and pretended to be asleep on the bed.

" This has gone on long enough, " I heard one of the voices from before.

All the sudden a loud blaring high pitched noise came blasting through what seemed like the walls, forcing me to shoot up to a sitting position and cover my ears.

I looked to see Dr.  Black on the other side of the bars with a satisfied grin on his face. 

" Good, it seems that you've finally woken up, " he said. 

I glared at him, but that only made his smile bigger.  

" So, from what happened in the ballroom I assume you know the truth, " he said, raising an eyebrow at me. 

I narrowed my eyes at him, " I know all about what you're doing, "I bluffed, but I hoped he bought it. 

" Excellent, so we can get straight down to it, where is it? " He asked. 

I tried to think about what he was talking about, but nothing seemed to make sense, " I don't understand. " 

" Oh, come on, don't play dumb with me! Where is it!?! " This time he shouted at me.

" I don't know what you're talking about! " I responded. 

" Wrong answer Elsa, wrong answer, " he said shaking his head, " Maybe you'll think of the right one once Anna is dead. "
