Jack
Anna had got some horses together for us and we all mounted them except for me of course, I was planning to fly next to everyone.
Once everyone was ready we started off. We weren't completely sure where we were going, but I had heard rumours about where Pitch's lair was, so it was the best chance we had.
It supposedly was in the mountains about a day journey from here.
We began off at a quick pace, but as we got closer to the mountains, the weather began uncooperative.
The wind blew harshly on us, forcing us to slow down.
" Do you think we should stop and find shelter and continue once the storm dies down? " Rapunzel shouted over the wind.
" No, it might get worse, we should to go as far as we possibly can, " I replied equally as loud.
The wind got colder as we approached the base of the mountains.
I could see it was really affecting the rest of the group as they pulled their hoods on, but I barely felt it.
Within a couple of hours we were a quarter of the way up the mountain and then it started to snow.
You could barely see a foot ahead of you, but we couldn't find any shelter to stop.
" Wait! What's that!? " Anna exclaimed pointing off into the distance.
I squinted and saw what looked like a log cabin.
We headed towards it and it looked like a store instead of a house.
We tied up the horses and headed inside.
" Yoo-Hoo! " greeted a huge man behind the counter, " Big summer blowout! "
We looked around and saw everything summer, sunscreen, beach balls and swimsuits.
I raised one eyebrow at him because the sale was ridiculous, who would want this stuff in the middle of a snow storm?
We were looking around, not really intending to buy anything just trying to escape the cold, when the door blew open from the wind.
We couldn't see two feet outside because the storm had grown even worse.
" Excuse me, " Anna said tapping the store clerk's shoulder.
" Yes? " he asked turning around and looking down at her.
" I was wondering if you have anywhere where we and our horses could stay until the storm passes? " She asked, I saw her cross her fingers behind her back hoping he could help.
" Oh of course! We have a stable out back, but it doesn't come without a price, " He said.
Anna smiled at him, " Thank you, " then she turned to me, " Bring the horses and everyone to the stable while I talk to him about the price. "
I nodded and called everyone over, " Okay, everyone hold on to someone else, so we don't get lost, " I said.
" Who were you talking to? " The man asked.
" Uhh, Flynn! " She lied, trying to cover up talking to me by someone who couldn't see me.
She pointed at Flynn and the guy seemed to shrug it off.
We went outside and found the horses, who were shivering and huddled together trying to keep warm.
We each grabbed the reins of one and started walking to the stable.
I wasn't really sure where to go since we couldn't see, but after a while of aimlessly wandering around the building, Merida finally spotted it.
It was quite hidden actually, it was between trees and blended in good with the surroundings. I will never know how she spotted it.
We got in and made ourselves comfortable in the hay.
Anna
" So it's arranged then, the minute the storm is done a messenger from the palace will come up to pay you, " I said, glad that he was so understanding.
" Anything for you Princess Anna, " He said bowing.
" Thank you, " I said politely and then exited the building to join the others.
I looked out into the storm around me, this was going to be ridiculous, but if they can find it so can I!
I started searching around the building, but had no luck.
Just when I was about to give up and head inside the store to warm up, I spotted it off in the distance.
I let out a huge sigh of relief and trekked my way over.
When I got there I realized that it wasn't a stable at all, it was just a bunch of trees.
I took a deep breath and decided to go back to the store for awhile, I turned around, but the store was no longer in sight.
" Crap, " I said out loud, not that anyone could hear me.
I started walking towards what I thought was the direction of the cabin, but I never saw it.
I started to panic, I couldn't feel my toes anymore and the cold was almost unbearable.
I turned around again to maybe find shelter in the trees, but like everything else I couldn't see them.
I was completely surrounded by white, I decided to keep walking because that way I might find something.
But after searching for what seemed like forever I finally faced the fact that I was completely and totally lost.
Elsa
" You wouldn't! " I yelled at Pitch, referring to him threatening to kill Anna.
I went as close to the bars as I could.
" I would, " He said while chuckling to himself, " As we speak my men are on their way to the castle, but I can stop them, if you tell me where it is. "
" For the last time! I don't know what you're talking about! " I yelled, fed up with what was happening.
" Silence! " He exclaimed, as he pointed his hands toward me.
I saw what looked like black magic shoot through his hands and hit me. I flew backwards into the wall and fell to the ground.
" That's the last time you speak out of line, " He said walking away.
I felt the pain surge through my back, it made me feel paralyzed. I clenched my teeth and shut my eyes as I waited for the pain to die down.
Eventually I gained the strength to get up and climb on to the bed.
I started thinking about what it was that Pitch wanted, was it money?
Nothing really stood out to me as worth it to go to all this trouble.
Maybe he wants the throne? But this seemed like the wrong way to get it.
I'm not sure what it was, but I knew it wasn't good for any of us.
