*Nico's POV*

I knock on the door to the Poseidon cabin, hoping she's here.

The door opens and Percy stands there. Once he sees that its me, he scowls.
"What do you want?", he asks, venom lacing every single one of his words.

"Look," I say, " I know I've been horrible with Y/N, but let me just talk to her and explain why"

Percy scoffs, "Explain what? That you've treated her horribly? That you're an awful friend? Yeah, I think she knows already. Besides, she's not here"

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean, Chiron sent her on some quest to see if there's any new demigods in (state you live in). She should be back in a couple of hours. Talk to her then." And with that he slams the door in my face.

I sigh and walk towards my cabin to wait for my best friend. I hope she's okay.

A knock at my cabin door brings me out of my wondering thoughts. I get out of bed and open the door. There stands Percy, eyes blood-shot as if he was crying.

"Percy? Percy what's wrong?", I asked frantically.

*play the song now*

"S-she's, she's, g-gone", he says, voice cracking. I was confused, but I had an idea of what he was talking about. I just didn't want to believe it.

I clenched my jaw as I squeezed my eyes shut.
"No, y-you're lying. Your lying!!" I screamed.

"You think I would lie about something like this?! My own sister is DEAD!!" Percy yells.

"NO SHES NOT!! I can still feel her!! She's still alive!! SHES STILL ALIVE!!" At that moment, when I felt Y/N slip away, my world came crashing down. I ran to the infirmary, ignoring the pleading cries of Percy. I burst into the infirmary, looking frantically for her, my best friend, the love of my life. My knees buckle as I see her, motionless and pale, lying on a cot.

I kneel down next to her, taking her hand.

"Hey N/N, you need wake up" I say as I stroke her (h/c) hair.
"Come on love, wake up. Wake up!! WAKE UP!!" I sob as I shake her. But no matter how hard I try, I know she won't come back to me.

I sob uncontrollably as I rock back and forth, cradling Y/N in my arms.

"I should've told you how I felt instead of ignoring you. Please don't think I hate you, Y/N, I love you, I love you so much, just please wake up" I said just above a whisper. I kiss her forehead, then lay my head in the crook of her neck, sobbing.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to find Will Solace with a sympathetic look on his face.

"We have to take her, Neeks"
He says.

"No, your not taking her away from me. She has be with me!!" I argue tightening my grip on Y/N.

Percy and Leo appear behind Will, looking solemn as well.

"Nico, she's my sister, I love her too, but we need to put to rest" Percy says, tears sliding down his cheeks.

"C'mon man, todos somos tristes (we're all sad), but she needs a proper burial" Leo intervenes.

"NO!! I love her, and she's staying with me until I say so!! You can't take her away from me!!" I sob.

Will looks over at Percy and Leo. The three exchange glances as Percy and Leo make their way over to me.

They both pull me away from Y/N as I thrash around. Will picks Y/N up bridal style and carries her away.

"NO!! NO!! DONT TAKE HER PLEASE!! DONT TAKE HER FROM ME!! BRING HER
BACK!! GIVE HER BACK TO ME!!!" I scream, thrashing around to get out of Leo's and Percy's strong hold. Its no use, I stop fighting and just slump to the ground, sobbing my heart out. Percy and Leo leave me alone, so I get up and run to my cabin. I run in and locked the door. Leaning against it and sliding down to the floor, I bring my knees to my chest and bury my head into my hands. I start crying, thinking of all the times I could have told Y/N how I felt when I still had the chance.

'I'm sorry Y/N, I love you, and I didn't get the chance to tell you face to face' I think to myself.

'I'll see you again Y/N, someday. Wait for me in Elysium. I love you'
