Chapt 15 He Was There All Along

One week later...

Corey and I had just gotten out of the hospital a few days ago and we had been inseparable ever since. We might've even been worse than Jack and Harriet. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to even be nearly as close as those two.

Corey and I were cuddled up on the couch, one of his hands were rested on my waist as we lay as big spoon and little spoon. His warm breath on my neck sent shivers through me as I flipped myself around so that our faces were inches apart. Corey smiled as I ran my hand slowly down his cheek.
"Corey, I love you so much" I whispered.

"I love you too Zoe" he replied as he pulled my face closer to his, and pressed a kiss to my lips. I couldn't help but smile as we pulled away.

Corey raised his eyebrows.
"I could get use to this" he smiled.

"Me too" I smiled, as I wrapped my legs around him and pushed my lips to his. Our lips moved perfectly together, sending waves of butterfly's through me. Just as things started to get heated I heard Ginny walk into the room and immediately pushed myself off of Corey and sat up.
Ginny stood at the door, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Really? Were you guys seriously making out, right here?"

I hesitated.
"I didn't know that anybody was home" I replied.

Corey cleared his throat awkwardly as he sat up beside me, giving Ginny an awkward smile.
"Hey Ginny"

Ginny pursed her lips before waving a quick hello towards Corey.
"I'm going out..." She said slowly, as she quickly made her way towards the door.

I watched her hurry towards the door, slip on her bright red sandals, and leave the house.
"Well, that was awkward" I laughed.

Corey nodded.
"Very"

I smiled teasingly as I rested my hand on Corey's chest.
"We're alone now" I winked.

Corey raised one eyebrow playfully and brought his lips closer to mine.
"I am so lucky"

I let out a quiet laugh and pursed my lips.
"I'm pretty damn lucky too" I replied as I pressed my lips to his. From that moment on, I knew that mine and Corey's relationship was special. Corey and I were in love, and I knew that we would be for a very long time.
