Kyla's P.O.V.

So, we are currently at L.A.X. in the departure lounge waiting for our flight to Trinidad. I still can't believe the guys are coming back with me.

This morning they got me a cake and sang me and Delly 'Happy Birthday' but we're having a proper party for the both of us at my house tonight.

Flight BW 1875 Caribbean Airlines now boarding

That being our flight, we gathered our stuff and proceeded to the plane. Now, Caribbean Airlines planes are a bit smaller than American Airlines so instead of three seats in a row, it's two. The seating arrangements are: Riker and I, Rydel and Rocky, Ross and Becca, Ryland and Ratliff and Stormie and Mark.

After the air hostess went through the safety rules, we were safely into the air. I seriously can't wait to get back home, but, unfortunately, I have to sit in a damn plane next to my backside of a best friend for 8 flimsy hours.

As excited as I am to meet Kyla's parents, I'm kinda nervous they won't like me. I mean, what if they don't like my hair, or my height, or my personality? That's just gonna throw me and Kyla's friendship totally off course. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt something slump on my shoulder. When I looked next to me, I realized Kyla had fallen asleep and she rest her head on my shoulder.

I smiled to myself and laid my head on top of hers. Damn, I really wish I could call her mine. She means everything to me and I can't stand being without her. She's my rock, my world, my life. I know it seems kinda over the top to say this after only 7 months but, Kyla just makes me feel something that I've never felt with any other girl before.

~8 hours after~

The flight attendant announced that we were descending to Trinidad so I woke Kyla up. I took a glance out the window and I was mesmerized by the view. Trinidad looked so beautiful from above; the trees, the fields, the beach. I can't wait to see it from the ground.

Kyla must've seen me staring in awe because she asked me, "You excited to see my home land?" "Of course I am! This is gonna be so much fun," I beamed. "Yeah it will! I can't wait to take you to the beach. It's not too far from my house either. And there's some really cool fast food outlets in my town where you guys can try," she said proudly. I smiled at her and then felt the plane land abruptly.

Becca turned towards Kyla and they both had the biggest smiles on their faces. This is seriously gonna be the best vacation ever!

We landed about 20 minutes ago and we just collected our luggage. As we walked through customs, I couldn't help the smile that stayed on my face. I can't wait to see my family!

I scanned the area trying to find my parents until I heard a high-pitched voice screaming my name. I spun around only to see my crazy sister, Lauren running towards me faster than the Road Runner. When she got to me, she wrapped me in the tightest hug. I returned the favor gratefully. I felt water drops on my shoulder and pulled back, only to see tears streaming down her face.

"I can't believe you're here," she smiled. "Me neither," I replied. "So you come home after 7 months and you don't remember your favourite person in the world?!" I heard someone say in a way too familiar voice. I turned around and jumped into my brother's arms. "I missed you," he whispered to me. "I missed you too," I whispered back.

I pulled away only to see my parents standing behind him with huge smiles plastered on their faces. I grabbed them both in a tight hug and told them how much I missed them. "Where's my military princess?" my uncle from the army asked behind me......wait, WHAT?! Uncle from the army?! "OH MY GOD!!" I screamed and jumped into his arms.
