As we made our way to the main level of the Nether Fortress, I kept on thinking about what happened to my parents. I looked around to find a Wither Skeleton guard to answer my question. I really couldn't see any due to the density of the crowd. After waiting for the main centre to get less full, I found a Wither Skeleton guard & asked my question.

"Mr. Guard?" I signalled for attention.

"Yes, Blazerey [Antonio]?" the guard asked. I honestly have no idea how he knew my name. Was it because I've lived here for a while or because almost every guard babysat me at least once?

"Where's my parents?"

"Err," The guard was thinking. "How do I put this... they're... on a very long business trip! Yeah, a business trip!" I knew he's lying, so I just stared at him with an unsure look.

"Okay, they're gone. Sorry for your loss." the guard revealed sympathetically & swiftly.

[Dawg, wtf is this dialogue]

"It's okay; I know how to cook for me & my sister."

"You're very lucky: most kids these days only know how to cook instant ramen. They don't even know how to chop vegetables or fry eggs! ['Cuz there's none in the Nether ya boomer] Kids these days are much more pampered than the generations before!" [Ironic writing from someone who only knew how to do those at teh time.]

"Wait, mobs don't know how to cook?"

"Yes, they don't."

"But I thought that every mob by the age of ten has to know how to cook. Isn't doing things yourself a necessity?"

[On the left side of the page, a sideways note says "_______ = find something in Japanese that means Withering Rose or Withering or Rose"]

"According to your generation, no."

"So that explains why my not-so-close friends don't know how to cook."

"Yes, it does." the Wither Skeleton finished our cooking conversation. "It's getting late, so you might as well make some dinner for yourself & others."

"Wait, how did you know about my friend Evan?"

"Through your dad. We've been good friends since college. Kinda reminds me, how come you don't remember me?" I started thinking about his question, & right there, a memory of his time baby sitting pops up.

"Oh yeah! Sorry for not remembering you, Mr. Kareru [Honetani; current surname (骨谷) means "bone valley"; old surname means "to wither (plant)"]

"That's okay; most guards look the same anyway."

"Don't you have a lost daughter somewhere?"

"Err, let's save it for when you're older, okay?"

"Okay." Well, that escalated weirdly. Mr. Kareru [Honetani] told me a story when he had a wife. Had a wife. He's now a single pringle & doesn't know where his daughter went. During his time of marriage, his wife had a baby (girl) & was insane enough to abandon her! Afterwards, the couple divorced (after Mr. Kareru [Honetani] found out what his wife did), & left the husband wondering the fortress to find his baby girl. All of that happened when I was one or two years old. The poor little Wither Skeleton could've had a happy life & a happy family. We could have been friends.

It's probably going to take a really long time 'till my parents return, & hopefully, Mr. Kareru [Honetani] would find his daughter soon.

I hope...

[Shinsuke, why were you talking to an eight year old like this?]
