Y/n's hand rested in Asuka's, trembling slightly. The room was quiet, but her phone buzzed softly beside her, glowing with messages from her friends. For the first time in years, she felt a spark of courage.
She took a shaky breath.
"I... I..." Y/n's voice cracked, tiny and uncertain—but it was the first time she had spoken to her sister in years.
Asuka's eyes widened, tears spilling over. She leaned closer, holding Y/n's hand tighter. "It's okay, Y/n... whatever you feel, it's okay."
Y/n glanced at her phone. Messages flooded in from her support network:
Sota (Be:First): "You've got this, Y/n! Just speak from your heart!"
Shunto (Be:First): "Every word is brave. We're cheering for you!"
Manato (Be:First): "Look at you! You're doing amazing!"
Minato (Chayney): "I'm right here. You're safe, Y/n."
Yuzu (INI): "We believe in you. Take your time."
Ibuki (INI): "Even a single word is a victory."
Shūhei (INI): "We're proud of you already."
Nayuta (INI): "Your voice matters. Say what you feel."
Haruto (Treasure): "Every step counts. You're incredible."
Mashiho (Treasure): "We're proud of you. Keep going!"
Asahi (Treasure): "You've got this, Y/n. We're cheering!"
The words washed over her like a warm tide. Y/n's chest tightened—but in that tightness, she found courage. She looked at Asuka, and with a trembling breath, whispered:
"I... I missed you."
Asuka's tears spilled freely as she hugged Y/n tightly. "I missed you too... so much. I'm so sorry, Y/n. I'll never lie to you again."
Y/n laughed softly through her tears, heart swelling with the love and support of everyone watching over her—her sister, her boyfriend, her celebrity friends, her mentors.
Her voice grew steadier. "I... I want to start over... with everyone."
Asuka hugged her tighter. "We'll take it one step at a time... together."
Her phone buzzed again, messages flooding in:
Manato (Be:First): "Look at you! That was amazing!"
Kai (Chayney): "So proud of you, Y/n! You did it!"
Mashiho (Treasure): "Every word counts. You're incredible!"
For the first time in years, Y/n's voice felt strong, her heart lighter, and her future brighter. Surrounded by family, friends, and the people who had never stopped believing in her, she finally realized she wasn't alone anymore.
And in that moment, Y/n knew: she could heal. She could speak. She could live.
