The evening air was cool, carrying the scent of blooming flowers from the nearby park. Y/n walked beside Minato, her hand brushing against his every so often, sending tiny sparks through her chest.

"I can't believe this is our first official date," she whispered, a playful smile on her lips.

Minato chuckled, glancing down at her. "We've been together for a while... but yeah, this is special. Just you and me, no rehearsals, no cameras, no one else."

Y/n's cheeks warmed. "I like it. I like... us like this."

He reached for her hand, entwining their fingers. "Me too. And I've been waiting for a night just like this."

They strolled through the park, laughing at little things—Minato pretending to trip over a bench, Y/n teasing him for being clumsy, the way they bumped shoulders accidentally and couldn't stop smiling.

At a quiet spot overlooking the city lights, Minato stopped and turned to her. "Y/n," he said softly, "I just want tonight to be about you. About us."

Y/n tilted her head, her heart fluttering. "It already is," she whispered.

He took her hands in his, looking into her eyes. "I love you, Y/n. I love your courage, your laughter, your voice... everything about you."

Y/n felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes, smiling through them. "I love you too, Minato. More than I ever thought I could love someone."

He leaned closer, brushing a soft kiss across her lips. It was slow, tender, and full of meaning—the kind of kiss that made time feel like it had stopped.

They stayed wrapped in each other's arms, talking quietly about silly things, their hopes, and little dreams, sharing laughter and soft touches. Y/n rested her head on Minato's shoulder, feeling the steady warmth of him beside her.

"Promise me something?" Minato whispered, holding her close.

"What?" she asked softly.

"Promise me we'll keep making moments like this. Just us. No matter how busy life gets, no matter what happens."

Y/n smiled, squeezing his hand. "I promise."

For the first time in a long while, Y/n felt completely at peace. She wasn't just speaking again—she was living, laughing, loving, and sharing her heart fully. And with Minato by her side, she knew that every new day could be just as bright, just as full of warmth, and just as beautiful as this one.

As they walked back under the city lights, hand in hand, Y/n felt her chest lift with joy. For the first time, love didn't feel scary—it felt safe, thrilling, and entirely her own.
