The sun was bright, the air filled with excitement and laughter. Y/n walked nervously into the amusement park, her hand tucked into Minato's. For the first time in years, she felt completely relaxed—well, almost.
"Don't look so serious, Y/n!" Yuzu teased, looping her arm around Y/n's. "It's a day for fun!"
"I'm... trying," Y/n said, smiling shyly.
"Trying isn't enough," Ibuki added, smirking. "You have to scream on the roller coaster like the rest of us!"
"Yeah!" Shūhei laughed. "And if you chicken out, we'll never let you hear the end of it."
Y/n laughed softly, feeling the warmth of their teasing. Minato squeezed her hand gently. "It's okay. You'll be fine. And we're all here with you."
Haruto and Mashiho from Treasure were already plotting the first ride. "Come on, Y/n!" Haruto called. "We'll go slow at first. Promise."
As Y/n climbed into the roller coaster car, her stomach fluttered, but she was surrounded by people who cared about her—people who had seen her at her lowest and were celebrating her courage now.
The ride began, and Y/n screamed—not just from fear, but from pure exhilaration. Laughter and cheering filled the air. When the coaster ended, Be:First members rushed over, joking about how "terrible" she had sounded, which only made her laugh harder.
"See?" Minato said, brushing her hair back. "That wasn't so bad."
"I... I think I liked it," Y/n admitted, cheeks flushed with excitement.
Sota grinned. "We'll see if you survive the next one!"
By the end of the day, Y/n had eaten cotton candy, won a few small prizes, and joined in silly photo booth pictures with Treasure, Chayney, and Be:First. Every laugh, every playful shove, every shared smile made her feel lighter than she had in years.
As they sat together on a bench watching the sunset, Y/n leaned her head on Minato's shoulder. "Thank you... for everything," she whispered.
"You don't have to thank us," he said softly. "We just want to see you happy."
Y/n glanced around at all her friends, her sister, her mentors. She realized that life didn't have to be heavy or lonely anymore. With them by her side, she could face anything—and even find joy in the simplest moments.
For the first time, Y/n felt truly at home.
