The first rays of sunlight filtered through the hotel curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Y/n stirred, still wrapped in Minato's arms, feeling the steady rise and fall of his chest beneath her cheek.
"Morning," Minato murmured, his voice rough with sleep. He shifted slightly, nuzzling her hair. "Sleep well?"
Y/n smiled, stretching lazily. "Better than I have in a long time," she whispered, brushing her fingers along his arm.
He grinned, teasingly pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "I can tell. You look... radiant."
"Stop it," Y/n said softly, hiding her blush against his chest. "You're going to make me melt before breakfast."
"Good," he whispered, a playful sparkle in his eyes. "I like seeing you melt."
They laughed quietly, savoring the intimacy of the morning. Minato pulled her closer, and Y/n leaned into him, enjoying the feeling of safety and warmth. It wasn't just physical closeness—it was emotional, a quiet reassurance that whatever happened, they were together.
"You know," Y/n murmured, tilting her head up to look at him, "last night... it was perfect. Not just because of us... but because I felt... completely safe. Completely loved."
Minato brushed his thumb across her cheek. "That's all I ever want for you, Y/n. To feel loved, cherished, and completely yourself... with me."
She smiled, letting herself savor the moment. "I am. With you, I really am."
He laughed softly, nuzzling her nose. "Good. Because I'm not letting go anytime soon."
Y/n giggled, pressing her lips to his chest once more. "I wouldn't want you to," she whispered.
The morning passed slowly and quietly, filled with playful teasing over who got the last sip of coffee, soft touches as they got ready, and whispered laughter that echoed in the sunlit room. Each moment strengthened their bond, making the love and trust between them feel tangible, unbreakable.
Finally, as they looked out at the city below, Minato wrapped an arm around Y/n, holding her close. "This... us... it feels like the start of something incredible," he said softly.
Y/n smiled, resting her head on his shoulder. "It already is," she whispered. "And I can't wait for every moment with you."
For the first time in years, Y/n felt completely at peace. Surrounded by love, warmth, and the soft morning light, she knew that life with Minato—and with all the people who cared for her—was exactly where she belonged.
And in that golden morning glow, with Minato by her side, Y/n finally understood the true meaning of home.
