Rachel’s POV

My guitar class will consist of two periods, and it was the only thing I was psych for. Before I went to class though, I had lunch. I was starving, maybe because I didn’t have breakfast. I was desperately hoping that I would at least have lunch with Liam or Zayn, but sadly I didn’t. I was once again alone, walking into the cold cafeteria. I got into one of the lunch lines, stuffing my tray with all sorts of stuff. I didn’t even care if people thought I was fat, I was so hungry I could eat a zebra! Staring down at my food tray, I hardly noticed that I step on someones foot. “I’m so sorry!” I said softly. “It’s okay, love. You seem hungry!” his thick Irish accent making me melt inside. I lifted my head up, to see the most amazing ocean blue eyes. He was gorgeous, so angelic. “Wow.” I let out. “Huh? What?” he asked, flustered. “Oh, sorry nothing.” I said, taking back what I said. “Oh alright.” he chucked. I looked down to his tray, his food piled into a mountain, just like mine. “You hungry too?” I questioned, probably grinning like an idiot. “Heck yeah!” he proclaimed. I still couldn’t get over his accent, it was so adorable. I was close to the cash register, ready to scan my ID. I pressed my card towards the red light, and was ready to dash off. “Wait, miss!” the Irish accent called out. “Yeah?” I said turning my head towards him. He caught up to me, holding onto a cup. “You forgot your smoothie.” he pointed out. I was slightly confused, since I never got a smoothie. “But, I never got a smoothie…” I reasoned. “Oh yeah, I know. I just wanted to get a reason to talk to you.” he chucked to himself. We both unconsciously sat at table together, devouring every single thing on our tray. “Oh I’m Niall by the way!” he said, munching on his cookie. “I’m Rachel.” I giggled. He gave me a cute smile, his braces shinning. “Well, Rachel you’re my new lunch buddy!” he cheered, while chugging down his water bottle. “I’m honored!” I said, jokingly.

We both stood up as the bell rang, and it took us awhile to realize that we were both headed the same direction. “You’re in Mr. Lewis’s guitar class too?” he asked eagerly. I happily nodded my head, watching his reaction brighten up. I grabbed my guitar where I had left it in class before lunch, so I wouldn’t end up carrying it. I took my seat at the back, as usually, and Niall surprisingly took a seat next to me.
