Niall's POV
"Okay so you tell me to bring my guitar and dress causally, then you blind fold me." I nod my head in response, only to realize she couldn't see me. "Yeah, I did, now some fidgeting and get in the car."
We both chuckled as I guided her in, making sure she didn't hit her head or something. "Alright, but seriously, Niall where are you taking me?!" Her voice had a hint of worry in it, and creeping her out was the least of my intentions.
"It's a surprise, relax okay? It's nothing bad." I buckled her up, seeing that she couldn't see whatever she was doing. She had seem to relax once I entered the car and started the engine, everything was good so far.
I hadn't told the lads I asked her out yesterday and they are pretty much clueless at the fact that she's with me right now. I just didn't want to have what happen to Zayn's date, happen to me.
Her fingers traced over the AC button, then traveling up to the radio. "So this is how it feels to be blind…" She jokingly said, attempting to find the button that turns on the radio.
"It's right here," I chuckled, taking her hand to where the button was.
Her hand quickly retreated once the music started to play out of the speakers, "Thanks, I--er-- I like this song."
"Me too!" I exclaimed, turning up the volume, wiping out all this awkward air.
***********
Luckily the car ride to the park wasn't long. I could tell she was uncomfortable by her uneasy attempts on finding a position she liked to sit.
"We're here." I finally spoke, the only time words were actually heard through out the whole car ride.
She cheered gleefully, fingers reaching at the blind-fold. "Wait." I stopped her, catching her hands once again.
"I'll guide you out and I'll tell you when ya can take it off, yeah?" I really don't think I gave her a choice, but regardless she agreed.
I slip out of my Range Rover, first opening the trunk and grabbing two guitar cases and the picnic basket that I pleaded my mother to make. I can't cook to save my life and I wanted nothing more to impress Rae, not to poison her.
Shutting the trunk, I rushed over to her side where she was waiting patiently. "Sorry I was grabbing our stuff."
She smiled sweetly, reassuring that everything was fine. Setting our belongings down, I grabbed hold of her hands, carefully guiding her out of the car. She was absolutely breathtaking. Her long golden locks falling down pass her shoulders. The floral dress complimenting her figure all too well. I inhaled deeply, reminding myself that I was in fact with this beautiful girl and I shouldn't screw it up.
"Alright this way, love." I led her to a nice, shady spot in the park, under this gigantic oak tree I used to climb on when I was little.
Standing behind her, I untied the mint-green blind-fold and unwrapped it from her face.
"Woah, it's bright." She said, taken back a bit. "But either way, this place is beautiful." I smiled cheekily, giving myself a mental pat-on-the-back.
Leaving her to admire the scenery more, I rushed back to the car, locking it and grabbing our things.
"Ahh, so a picnic while we play music, how very cliché of you." I froze for a moment, was she not into this? Great, did I already screw up?!
"I love it, though. Just being outside, while playing. It's really relaxing." Whew, I thought she hated my plan there for a moment.
"It really is," I settled down beside her, opening the basket and taking out all the contents of it.
