Louis’s POV

She probably thinks I’m a weirdo, GAH! I can’t help it though, she just walks in her with her pretty self and I can’t contain myself. She doesn’t seem to mind my behavior, which makes me like her a lot more. “You should definitely audition for that play!” Rae said, snapping me out of my trance. “You think so?” I asked, acting all cocky. She just laughed and then nodded. “I would if I could, but I can’t. I have band rehearsal like everyday after school.” I said, gazing at her glowing beauty. “Oh, that sounds cool. You’re in a band!” She said in sudden interest. Her fascination was simply adorable. “Yeah, me and my other four best mates! But enough about me, why’d you move here from America?” I asked changing the topic so I wouldn’t start rambling about how cool me and the guys were. “Uh, well my dad got a job here. I really didn’t want to leave, but I kind of had no choice. I had to leave everything, friends-” “Boyfriend?” I seem to startle her when I cut her off, but I wanted to make sure she wasn’t off limits. “Yeah…” She said sadly, looking down. Of course! OF COURSE, SHE HAD TO BE TAKEN! “…but he broke up with me before I left… he said long distance relationships don’t last.” she continued. Say whaaat? Who in there right mind break up with this wonderful creation? “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be telling you this, you probably don’t care and think that I’m one of those self-centered Americans or something.” She rubbed her eyes, I knew she was crying. “Listen babe, he was totally wrong for dumping you. I don’t think you’re self-centered, you’re heart broken. You can let out your feelings to me all you want!” I reassured her. A weak grin drew upon her face, it was comforting to know that I made her smile. “Well you’re my new best friend!!!” I said completely changing the mood. “Sounds great!” She laughed. Her laugh was music to my ears, not to mention contagious. I never really cared when people laughed at my jokes, but when she laughed at mine… it was like my world had brightened up all of a sudden.
