Chapter 18: Can We Make It?

--- Hope POV ---

When Harry and I have finally calmed down enough to talk to each other properly, Harry explains the tour.

It isn’t as bad as I had imagined.

It’s not good.

But it’s also not too bad.

“Ok, so I’m going to give you the basics of our tour, that is, which continent we’re on and when. Right?” Harry asks. I can still see that he’s a little worried about talking to me about the tour and I don’t blame him. Considering my reaction earlier… he’s fully justified.

“Yep.” I say sending him a smile and moving closer to him on the bed. Currently I’m sitting cross legged with my back to the door at the foot of the bed while he’s at the head of the bed leaning against the headboard with sheets of paper spread out in the space between us. I wriggle my way up and around so that I’m resting my back on the head board next to him. I reach over and take his hand in encouragement. “It’s fine Harry. I promise I won’t freak out this time.” I say in a reassuring voice, raising his hand and kissing his palm soothingly.

Blowing out a heavy breath he sighs and nods his head.

“I know. I just don’t want to face reality right now.” He whispers and I move to kiss his cheek.

“You start the tour in five days Harry. I think you might need to face reality now.” I say quietly. I don’t like this any more than him but… we need to talk about this while we still have clear heads.

“God, I know, I’m just saying I don’t want to.” He groans and I giggle slightly.

“Ok, enough procrastination. Explain.”

“Right, From the 22nd of February, so in five days, the boys and I begin the UK section of our tour. That goes on until theee…” He trails of slightly looking for the right sheet of paper with the information written on it. “The 26th of April. Then we head out into Europe.  Starting in Paris on the 28th of April we travel around Europe until… May the 26th. Hey! We’ll be rehearsing in America over your birthday... No wait… Our first performance in America is on your birthday. That’s cool. Also, When did you say your fashion show was? In June some time? Anyway, you will be flying over with the boys and I on the 31st of May for our first North America concert on your birthday the 8th of June in Mexico. That finishes on…” He stops again shuffling around papers yet again to try and find the correct one. “The 10th of August, then we have some other stuff on around that time… before we fly out for the Australia and New Zealand section of the tour from September 23rd to October 30th. Then We have Japan. You ever been to Japan? It’s awesome.” He says casually, probably thinking about his recent trip there. He came back with a Kimono that, I have no problem in saying this; I steal often. “We only have two concerts in Japan so yeah.” He says, finally finishing and looking back up at me from the papers.

“Ok… so for the first three months, you are actually here in the UK?” I ask happily and he nods back at me. “Awesome, that makes things a lot easier. Ok then yes, I do come over with you guys for my fashion festival on the 13th of June. Although, that’s in New York so on the 10th I fly out to go get ready for that and I stay in NYC until the 10th of July when I fly home. Ummm, let’s think, I planned this all out in my head earlier today. Then I actually don’t see you again until you’re in Brisbane, Australia. I can only stay for five days in October so from the 18th to the 22nd.  Then I go on holiday with Ivy and Mum for a week in a catamaran in the Whitsunday islands, then I join you again for the time you spend in Japan because, yes I have been to Japan, but the traditional clothing and silks are really good for inspiration.” I nod to myself. Sure that I’ve covered everything. God, this is so technical.
