Izzy POV
"Iz!" Leila exclaimed as we chilled in my treehouse after school. "Firstly, thanks for hospitalizing Jean Pierre. Secondly, are you ready for our girls night tonight?"
"Duh." I grinned. "I've been excited for this since last summer."
Leila sighed dreamily. "Gosh, I adore hyperbole."
"And I... adore your kind gesture of buying me a girls night outfit." I glanced at my closet door, a few hangers of clothes hanging on the handle.
"Well, after tonight, we might not be able to hang out again because of all the senior tests and stuff." Leila grabbed the hangers and held them out to me. "I'm making this a night to remember. I don't want this night to be spoiled because you're wearing sweatpants and a T-shirt from the 1900's."
I huffed. "Well, when you put it like that, my shirt seems 10 times older than it actually is..."
"Izzy, close your eyes." Leila ordered abruptly. She forcefully closed my eyes, then, after some rummaging, spoke again. "Left or right?"
"Uhh... right?" I felt nervous as to her plot.
Leila squealed. "Yay! I love you, Izzy! Don't you dare open your eyes until I tell you~!" She threw some things at me and shoved me into the bathroom, keeping the door closed with the classic chair-under-the-knob. "Take a shower or bath real quick and put that on when you're done! Oh, and you can open your eyes now!"
I sighed, following her orders. How could I possibly say no to Leila? I took a hot shower, making sure my hair was perfect before I ruined it by wrapping it in a towel. I eyed the clothes Leila wanted me to wear. A lavender dress with black heels hurt my eyes(not the heels though, of course). "Leila," I shouted, "I am not wearing this!"
"Yes, you are~!" She shouted back. I groaned loudly, but complied. Leila is actually scary when she's mad. I tied the ribbon at the back of the dress and slid on the heels. Should I...?
"Leila, do you want me to–"
"No! I'm doing your hair and makeup for you!" Leila burst through the door and forcefully closed my eyes... again. "Do not open your eyes until I'm done, please."
I sighed. "Alright..."

Dear Izylia,
By the time you read this, I will be gone. Long gone. But don't let that discourage you. You were spared for a reason. What that reason is, I have no idea. But... I do know that you have found my red moonstone, meaning that your Aunt Enyiana and sister Ellie have told you everything already...
Well... except for one thing. Did you know that our family is cursed? Yes, it's true. In early times, my ancestors did something that angered the moon goddess. She was absolutely furious. She transformed some into blood-sucking demons and booted the rest off to a different planet.
Well, push came to shove and shank and... werewolves entered our bloodline. We still aren't sure how angry moon goddesses plus vampire-like demons equaled werewolves. I mean, it somewhat makes sense, but... how?
You might be able to learn; pick up my research where I left off. I have a lab in Manchester. I'm aware you got accepted to a university nearby...
I am so proud of you, Izylia. And I know it may seem daunting or intimidating, but you must complete every part of yourself in order to achieve success. It's the only way. You will need to learn how to gain the responsibilities of partial demon-hood by yourself.
I love you, Izylia, my little moon. "There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls." – George Carlin
Sincerely, with highest regards,
Azura Yelena

(Izzy POV)
"Izzy, are you okay?" Leila asked. "You seemed... unfocused. It was super weird; it was as if you stopped breathing, or something. Are you okay?"
"Uh, yeah. I'm fine." I replied with a shrug. "Anyway, do you mind telling me what the fuss is about tonight?"
Leila became flustered and embarrassed. "Well, technically it's my fault you didn't know, but..." Leila started bouncing in excitement where she stood. "Firstly, open your eyes. Secondly, today's my birthday!"
My eyes burst open and gave Leila a hug, picking her up for a moment. "Happy birthday, Leila! Now, I'm required to get you a super cool gift."
"You say that as if you were already planning on getting me something." She eyed me dubiously.
"I may or may not have been planning on getting you a graduation gift." I opened the bathroom door and grabbed my bag, turning towards Leila to wink at her. "Now, I'll just get you another present." Leila opened her mouth to say something, but I was already gone.

You know how I was raised in the forest, right? So then, "How the heck did I get lost?" I groaned, banging my head against a tree in frustration. I had gotten a few gifts for Leila, but on my way back to my treehouse, I'd noticed an extremely beautiful bird; a Resplendent Quetzal. I had chased after it, trying to get a closer look. Well, after a few minutes... I was lost, stranded in a random clearing.
"This is so ridiculously stupid." I huffed as I started walking back the way I came. The Quetzal crowed out a lovely song, flying past me and blocking my vision with its gorgeous teal feathers. I staggered back, covering my face with my arms. When the bird disappeared, I rubbed my eyes and kept walking, retracing my steps in my mind. After a few minutes, I found myself on a dirt and gravel path, leading out of the forest. I sprinted down the path, ignoring the filth getting in my hair.
At the end of the path was a vast field, covered with large hills. There were hardly any structures, except for a few barns, windmills, and farms. A single road led towards Seabrook, which was slightly visible from my position. I ran towards the road, knowing that if I followed it, I'd get back to Seabrook. I paused for a moment to catch my breath before I kept walking towards the town.
As I was nearing the edge of Seabrook, I heard an odd noise, one I wouldn't expect in the space between a suburban and rural area. I turned to look behind me, wanting to know where the noise was coming from. "What the..." I trailed off as I saw it: a party bus with familiar characters on the side. Which characters you ask?
Oh, maybe just the ones from FNAF Security Breach.
No big deal, obviously...
Yikers.
