Reality is a Fleeting Moment

Chapter Twenty-One

Eliza's robot stood in a crowd of Zed's friends in the middle of Zombietown. "Attention, everyone. If Zed can prove that monsters are exceptional, doors will open for all of us."

One of Zed's zombie friends, Bonzo, was still looking at a driving magazine. "You're gonna ace your driver's test, zom-boo," His girlfriend, Bree, explained as she took the magazine out of Bonzo's hands, "But right now, focus. Zed needs us."

Eliza resumed her speech, "All right, everybody. Listen up. We only get one shot. Zed's interviewer, Mrs. Crabtree, is gonna be here in an hour."

That's when someone came into Bonzo's line of sight. Bonzo spoke a somewhat panicked sentence of zombietounge.

"Who's early?" Eliza seemed very confused until she saw her too. "Uh-oh. Seabrook, we have a problem."

After Willa, Wynter, and Leila escaped from the wolf now prowling the streets of Seabrook, the girls decided to try and comfort Zed, who was stressing out at the beach.

"You're making history today, Zed." Wynter made an effort to comfort(and somewhat hype up) her friend. "First zombie to even interview for college."

Wyatt nodded. "Hey, you show 'em what monsters can do."

Zed smiled weakly. "Right. I am going to slay her with my killer zombie charm..." Willa nodded for a moment, but then Zed concluded his statement with: "Or not. Probably not. I don't know. We will see."

Bonzo and Bree rushed up to the group, and Bonzo said something in zombietounge, causing Zed's face to fall. "What? She's early."

I'm kind of freaking out

And not in the best way

More like a "heart beating out my chest

'Cause I'm stressed" way

You're the best football player

That I've ever seen

You'll be fine

You're a charismatic green machine

What if you're wrong

And I bomb this interview?
