Y/N POV
Leila slid the CD into the DVD player and turned the TV on. Once it started playing, she gestured for everyone to have a seat. There wasn't room for everyone to sit, so Monty, Sun, and Foxy stood in the back of the room and watched.
Music started to play as the black screen slowly began to brighten.
Then an animated version of the girl who'd shown up a few minutes ago covered in blood appeared on the screen. I recalled her name being Izzy... My eyes widened out of shock at the sight of her, but I started to calm down as the video continued. I realized that this must've been some kind of fan-made music video, and I almost felt like laughing because this was a way different Izzy than the one I first saw.
They say first impressions are often wrong, and I was starting to reconsider mine of Izzy. Sort of. The animation of Leila's friend walked off screen, revealing the title of the first song in white lettering against a black background, sort of like Wheel of Fortune. 'My Ordinary Life(aka MOL)' the screen said as the black faded away to reveal a landscape of original characters, animated to match the lyrics of the song.
And in that moment, it was clear to me that this girl, albeit not in the CD herself, was extremely talented, and her creations were a reflection of herself and the things she cared about.
That being said, she wasn't by any means "tame" in the video, but the fact that she obviously took the time to create a music video of a song that I could only assume was by The Living Tombstone (Gregory had a thing for them) said a lot about her character. Maybe she wasn't as bad as I'd thought? I didn't want to change my opinion too quickly, because violence shouldn't be taken lightly, but I'd learned a thing or two about psychopaths in the last couple years.
Sometimes they aren't completely psycho.
I decided to keep watching and save my judgment until the next time I saw her.
The upbeat, yet kind of rageful song ended, and the next one began. I actually recognized it: Five Nights at Freddy's.
The beginning of the Toreador March played, giving the song an eerie vibe that entirely matched the story it was connected to. Monty took off his glasses, and the other animatronics started looking at each other. They weren't particularly familiar with the games, so the mere mention of them was intriguing, but I wasn't sure what they would think.
We're waiting every night to finally roam and invite
Newcomers to play with us
For many years we've been all alone
We're forced to be still and play
The same songs we've known since that day
An imposter took our life away
Now we're stuck here to decay
Chica's jaw dropped, and she started staring at me like she'd just heard that the sun was about to explode. I got up and walked over to the couch she was sitting on and asked to switch places with Roxy, who was sitting next to her.
Once Roxy was up, I sat down next to Chica and whispered, "It's just a story. Don't worry."
I knew that it wasn't "just a story," but Chica didn't need to know that. It calmed her down for the time being, but I had a feeling this wouldn't be the only song that referenced... um... murder.
It would be fine, though. So long as everyone was busy focusing on Izzy's music videos, I wouldn't have to spiral and think about how I would explain the dark—and very real—history of Fazbear Entertainment.
