Zed POV

I was talking to Eliza on an iPad, Bonzo walking next to me. "I have a real shot of getting into Mountain College." I paused for a moment. "I just... I wish you were here to help me with the exceptional student application...."

Eliza smiled. "I am here. Turn around." I did and a robot thing came rolling towards me. Another iPad was attached to the face, so Eliza's image was still projected. "I whipped up a little something with the spare parts laying around Z-Corp."

I smiled and got closer to the robot. "This is dope, Eliza." Bonzo and I engaged in a quick zombie-tongue conversation.

"No, Bonzo," Eliza cut in. "The aliens didn't imprison me in this robot body. I did this."

Bonzo muttered something under his breath, just loud enough so I could hear. "Yeah, I would have made myself taller too," I shrugged.

Eliza became slightly frustrated. "At least I didn't fail my driver's test, Bonzo. Twice."

Another female voice appeared from behind Bonzo and I. "Eliza, that's mean. Bonzo is a genius."

"Izzy!" Eliza exclaimed first. "How've you been with the aliens and stuff?"

"Upset, like always." Izzy replied nonchalantly.

Eliza turned back to me. "Anyway, Zed, when is your application due?"

"Uhh..." I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. "Today? So not technically last minute?"

"So, let me get this straight," Eliza shared a look with Izzy for a moment before looking back at me. "The only way you can get in, is as an exceptional student?"

"Uhh..." I nodded.

"Hold up," Eliza typed something on her computer. "Give me a moment to pull up your transcript..."

(Izzy POV)

I was long gone from that conversation. I knew that the aliens, as... uhh... unique as they are, would definitely mess up Zed's chances of getting into college. I don't care about Zed himself, but he's the only way that my friends will ever get better education. "Principal Lee," I cautiously approached my former headmistress(not the bad kind of headmistress, obvi). Technically, I'm not allowed here... technically. "How are the... new arrivals faring?"

Principal Lee winced. "They finished the course in 23 minutes, Izzy. It only took them that long because they didn't know how to sharpen a pencil..." Our gaze shifted to the aliens.

"The utensil is functional again!" A-spen yelled with a smile, and the other aliens copied her.

"Really...?" I trailed off when a flash of reflective light caught my eye: Coach Easter replacing Zed's plaques on the board of athletic records. I walked over to the board with curiosity. "What are you doing, Coach?"

"You know A-lan?" He asked as he replaced Zed's name with A-lan's.

"Yes..." I face-palmed. "Did A-lan seriously break Zed's athletic records?"

Coach Easter nodded. "Yep. Blew Zed's records away. He can jump so high for no reason! He has six-pack abs–"

"I can get to eight, Coach!" A-lan interrupted. "Just give me time!"

"This is an 'A' and 'B' conversation, so 'C' your way out of it." I barked at him with a glare. "Anyway, Coach, you were saying?"

"Oh, yeah." Coach replaced the last name plaque. "The laws of gravity do not apply to the aliens, actually."
