Daryl is now 16 and Bella is 15.
Bella's Pov.
It's Daryl's 16th birthday today and it's almost out 8year friendiversary ( A/N I don't know if that's a word, but it is now. Lol. ) so I'm taking Daryl out to eat and to see "Nightmare on Elm Street New Nightmare" at the theater, we love the nightmare on Elm Street series.
~4 hours later~
Still Bella's Pov.
The movie is over and we just left the restaurant, we are on our way home. I grab Daryl's hand and start to run, making him chase me like when we were eight.
"Hurry up you have present waiting on you."
"What is it??"
"I'm not telling, you'll find out in a minute." I say giggling.
Daryl's Pov.
We stop in front of the house and Bella screams "All Right daddy, come on."
I never would have guessed what my present was...."Merle??" I say in disbelief.
"Happy birthday, baby brother."
"How are you here??"
"My captain gave me 48 hours off to come and tell you happy birthday."
"This is the best present ever." I say while hugging my brother.
"There's two more presents Dare." Bella tells me.
"You shouldn't have, seeing Merle was more than enough."
"Just open them." Dale and Bella say at the same time."
"Which one should I open first??"
"Mine!!" Merle screams from beside me.
I grab the box wrapped in shinny red wrapping paper and labeled, To:Daryl From:Merle. I unwrapped the medium sized box to unveil a brand new Stryker StrykeZone 380 crossbow. ( A/N that is the kind of crossbow Daryl uses in TWD. )
"I know how you want to learn to hunt, figured that would help."
"It will, thank you so much Merle."
"You're welcome, baby brother."
"Now open ours." Bella demands.
I grab a little box also in shinny red wrapping paper, but this one was labeled, To:Dare From:Bells and Dale. I gently unwrap it and open the small box, there is a key. I look up at Dale and Bella confused.
"Follow us." I do as I'm told and follow Merle, Bella and Dale to the back yard, revealing a "Blue 1973 Ford F-250" ( A/N pic at top, it is Daryl's truck from TWD.)
"It's yours Dare, now that you have your license, you have something to drive and for when you go huntin'."
"Guys, this is to much."
"No it's not, it's all yours."
"Thank you Dale, thank you Bells. I walk over and hug them and Merle.
"Let's go eat cake and ice cream." Dale says.
"We'll be in, in a few daddy." Bells tells Dale.
"Okay."
We sit down in the back of the truck and start to talk.
"It's hard for me to believe our 8th friendiversary is in 3 weeks, man time flies when you're with your best friend." Bella says.
"I can't believe it either it's been the best 8years of my life, because of you and your dad; if ya'll hadn't taken me in, I'd probably be dead right now."
"I'm glad you're here, don't know what I would do if you weren't my best friend."
"You would be fine without me Bells, you had plenty of friends before I showed up."
"But I would trade all of them for you, a thousand times over....
Because I love you Dare." She says while looking me in the eyes.
I'm speechless, I have no idea what to say.
"Dare, You okay??"
I nod my head, yes.
"Then why are you crying??"
"Nobody has ever told me that they Love me."
"I do, and don't you ever forget it."
"I won't, because I love you too." I say tears freely falling, as I lean towards Bella and wrap her in a hug.
