Daryl's Pov.
I'm sitting at the lake with Bella, when Merle walks up and says, "what happened at the house?? Why did dad say you it's your fault mom died??"
"I don't know why he said it was my fault, he hit me, so I snuck out my window and came here."
"Dad hit you?? Merle questions.
Yes, your dad didn't just hit him, he beat him." Bella tells Merle.
"Is that true Daryl??"
"Yes, And he told me he should have done the same thing to me that he did to Alyssa." I say biting at my thumb.
"He never should have said that." Merle says sitting down next to me.
"Who is Alyssa??" Bella ask.
"He'll tell you later Bella, can I talk to my brother alone please?? "
"Of course, see you tomorrow Daryl." Bella says waving goodbye.
I wave back, "what did you want to talk about Merle??"
"You know how I told you I joined the military??"
"Yea."
"Well I got a call today saying I leave for boot camp in 2 days."
"You can't leave me Merle, dad will kill me!!" I say in a begging tone.
"I don't have a choice Daryl, I'm sorry, I thought since he had never hit you before you and mom would be ok."
"Well now moms dead and I'm gonna be if you leave me here!!" I say about to cry.
"I'm sorry, I don't have a choice, I can't take you with me."
