Daryl's Pov.
It's been 2 weeks since we said I love you for the first time. We are going on our first date tonight, I'm taking Bells to this beautiful park with a pier a few miles from our house, and having a picnic at sunset. (A/N pic above. )
~At the park~
Still Daryl's Pov.
"This place is beautiful Dare." Bella says smiling that gorgeous smile.
"Just like you." I say and Bella blushes.
"Thank you Dare, you're so sweet."
"It's true, you're beautiful; you ready to eat??"
"Yes I'm starving."
After we eat, we start to talk about our feelings.
"I had a crush on you the first time I ever met you." Bella admits.
"I always thought of you as a sister, until about a year and a half ago, then I realized I loved you more than a sister."
"Why didn't you tell me a year and a half ago then??"
"Cuz I was scared you didn't love me 'like that' and you'd never talk to me again."
"I pinky promise I will never stop talking to you, no matter what."
"I'm glad, I don't know what I would do if you didn't talk to me."
After talking for a couple of hours our conversation turned serious.

"Dare, I need to ask you something??"
"Okay, shoot."
"Back when your dad went to jail and Merle showed up, you told him that your dad said he should have done the same thing to you that he did to Alyssa; Who is Alyssa??"
I take a deep breath and answer. "She was my sister." ( A/N pic of Alyssa above. )
"Was, what happened??"
"My dad happened." I say with tears in my eyes.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me."
"Yes I do, you have the right to know."
"It's up to you, you can stop when you want."
"Okay, Alyssa was two years older than me, when she was seven, Merle was out with friends, and our dad tried to punish me for dropping and breaking a plate; but Alyssa took the blame for it, our dad knew it was me that broke it, so he decided to punish both of us; he took us in the bedroom and told me to sit in the corner and watch Alyssa take the blame for me; he started to beat her , I was begging him to stop but he wouldn't, he just kept saying "This is all your fault!!" dad kept beating Alyssa till she started to get pale and looked like she was going to pass out, she looked to me and mouthed "It's okay." Then her eyes closed and she quit moving." As I finished the story I started to sob.
Bella wrapped her arms around me and I sobbed into her shoulder, he killed her because of me and he made me watch, I didn't want to but he made me.
"Oh my god Dare, I'm so sorry, I had no idea." Bella said as she hugged me tighter.
The first half of this chapter was very fun to write but the last half of this chapter was very hard to write, I cried the entire time I was writing it.
Hope you enjoyed and will keep reading, even though the chapters can be pretty dark sometimes, things will get happier soon.
This book is officially half over, there will be 20 chapters total.
