Natsu's P.O.V
The night pressed on. The couple exhausted their ability to welcome everyone, for each time they decided to take a break; Another guest would approach.
It was nearly midnight, yet this is when most parties actually began.
Music erupted whimsically as pairs of diverse couples enticed the dance floor.
"Natsu...?" Lucy looked up towards her partner.
"Yes?" He tilted his head in confusion.
"Care to dance with me?" She smiled softly, holding out her hand.
"Um...I would-I want to-but..." He looked down rather embarrassingly.
"What's wrong?" Her brown concerned orbs cut deep within his core.
"I don't know...I've never danced before." He blushed with shame.
"I'll teach you!" She grinned with excitement, pulling him towards the middle of the floor.
"Wait, L-lucy!" His head was jumbled as he easily followed her.
"Trust me." Her determination nearly melted his entire being.
"O-ok."
"Place your hands here and here."
"Like this?"
"Now, I'll put my hands here, see?"
"Now what?"
"Follow my lead."
Lucy's P.O.V
Swaying her body slowly, Natsu caught up not long after, though stiffened.
"Relax, you're doing great." She encouraged him by pulling him closer.
"Am I really?" His tense body toned down once making contact with hers.
"Of course." Smiling she leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I think I'm getting the hang of this." She could practically hear his grin.
The music leaked around them, while other guests were dancing rapidly, Natsu and Lucy slowly stole the show. Thus earning a symphony of dreamy, slow paced pieces.
"Aren't they darling!" The crowd of overseers increased with each slight beat.
Now the center of attention once again, the crowd waited in anticipation.
Continuing to sway slowly, the chatter died down as now Natsu and Lucy characterized their dance.
Moving in circles, they covered more ground, though slowly, they twirled and spun romantically.
Gasps of admiration and jealously broke out ever so often, making one of the two look up; only to be called to by the opposite.
"Eyes one me."
"Everyone is looking..."
Natsu's P.O.V
"You are the most important, I only need to look at you." His eyes bled into hers.
He grew more confident in his movements, taking the lead ever so often to state is progress.
Hearing the music stop, they continued momentarily. Embracing each other, they persevered throughout the remainder of the star blessed night.
