"Are you enjoying this?" He asked happily.
"Of course, I am more than enjoying this." Lucy replied with a appreciative grin.
There is no time for this nonsense

Oh? And why is that?
Things are moving too slowly
Everything is perfect, I don't need a change

"Natsu, are you okay?" Her voice sounded like a mere echo, thousands of miles away.
"Yes." He murmured almost indifferently.
"I wish to confess something, my love." Her smile remained gentle as she gazed up towards him.
"Y-Yes?" He looked, subtle twitches began to invade his facial expression.
"I don't know how you're going to feel about this, but this is all I've ever dreamed of....Natsu, I'm pregnant." She let out a deep breath and awaited his response.
"Pre..." His eyes began to flicker, changing from his normal dark shade to a red hue.
"N...Natsu?" Etched within her voice, a hint of fear burst through.
With one final jerk of his head, his features were back to normal, a smile put plainly on his face.
Lucy's P.O.V
"I am to be a father?" He asked, disregarding his moment of erratic behaviors.
"And I am to be a mother." Lucy gently placed her hand over her stomach.
"Then my wife needs her rest." Within no time, they returned to their bed chamber, seeming more plain than previously.
"Are you...happy?" She whispered sadly, more to herself than him.
"I am bursting with joy." He smiled, yet it barely reached his eyes purely.
"Oh good..." She settled into their bed and quickly felt the caress of slumber.
"Goodnight, my wife." He added as he left their bedroom swiftly.
