"Looks like somebody ate the whole watermelon and it got stuck to that belly" mz. Marrberry joked

"Hii moms, i take it as i'm fat huh" giving a small giggle

"No baby, you know I'm messing with you. I'm not quite show i'm ready to see my son like this, i'll just wait til jermaine & Jerome come!

"I know it has been three long weeks just coming and watching him suffer" i replied with tears escaping my eyes

"O honey don't cry, he will get through this and so will we! I'm sorry I took so long to get down here, the boys are still coming. They had to handle some business and i refuse to wait on them any longer chile"

We were headed from the airport. She looked very nice and to say she was in her late 50s you couldn't tell. She was a short, thick woman, cold brown eyes, chocolate rich skin,& her hair always was cut in a nice bob, she was a beautiful chocolate woman that had a heart of gold, Yeah Linda Mayberry!!! I didn't dress up to meet her at the airport... i was plane jane today, i wore my marylon monroe with my black and white tights and my oreo retro 5 jordans on. While Carter's mom was down here i could take a break and go air out for a while!

"Kyria Carter told me y'all wasn't together anymore, but the fact that you are immediately by his side you can't even tell. I told him to get his shit together because it's rare breeds like you" she proclaimed

"I didn't know he told you that, honestly moms he has been doing alot of cheating and I take him back everytime" sincerely responding

"Now true enough that's my son but wrong is wrong & right is right. Your problem is not putting your foot down. You think a man love you just because you keep begging & pledding to you?"

"No not really, but i thought after me staying away from him, I thought he would appreciate what he had while we are not together"

" No a man sense that your are weak & simple minded, he knows that you loves him and no matter what he do he know you gonna take back"

"I really love him though and especially with him being in this coma just makes it worse"

"Honney his dad was the same way but instead his dad would come home and beat my ass after i would threating to leave him. He stayed cheating and i took him back everytime do you hear me? I eventually got fed up wen i found out he had given me a STD."

"Omg really, sooooo, wat did you do?"

"He came home that night to an empty house. & i mean a empty house nothing was there not even his shit. The boys and i had moved to florida on em!"

"You a trip mz. Mayberry, i just pray wen he wake out this coma, that this be a wake up call."

"Me too honney!"

We made it to my moma house where I could get cassie and she spend time with her other grandmother. My mom greeted me in as always and I could smell the homemade cornbread the living room. My mom loved cooking and she would feed a homeless person just because she always had extra. I sat down & talked to my mom real fast and I handed her some shopping money, she did a wonderful job with me and she helps alot with Cassie whenever I need her to. That was my back bone, my twin just my older version though. I lead cassie out the door which she seen her grandmother and started yelling!

3 hours later....
I drove towards the hospital, anxiously thinking maybe he would be woke wen I came in the room! As I enter the room i seen a real short fat chick, brown skinned, short hair , fat cheeks with dimples!! I simply walked to her which she had tears in her eyes standing at his bedside. I was a lil confused because i never had seen her before. I just figured she was part of the family somewhere down the line.

"Hello, it was nice if you to come. He hasn't changed much." I said looking at her

"Thank you, but you are who? Maybe a cousin or someone to him in the family?" She asked cocky

"Sorry, but i'm not his cousin, I'm his girlfriend & which i'm having his second child! Kyria" i extended my hand and she looked at it as if it was a STD.

"How is that possible when we have been together for years and we have two children together. But then again it is, he stop being sexually active with me, he's never home and to top it off vick told me he was cheating & moved on!!

I stood there NOT being able to move. To say I was shocked could be an understatement. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing I wanted someone to come and laugh yelling me i've just been punked but I know this reality. I felt my heart sink as tears came to my eyes, It felt as if i was going to pass out any second. This nigga not only cheating this mothafucker living a double life!!!

"So you have two kids for him already, & do his mom know you as well? Sharply questioning her

"Yes , but he kept me away from her, saying that he was the black sheep of the family! He used to beat me for no reason, he used to come home and tell my sons that they had a sister and evertime i would question him i would get slap, punched, or just beating!

"Omg that don't sound like carter, but it also explain his cheating ways! But how did you know he was here?"

"Vick called & told me..i've been waiting for you to come so I could see who was the mistress was, oh course vick explained that you knew nothing of me".

"Shit well dis some interesting news i've heard so fucking so far!" Ain't this some shit so um whats your name?"

"Kisha" she eased out in a low tone

"Hmmm kisha i guess it was nice meeting you " awkwardly shaking my head!!

Mane this shit doesn't get any better , i walked towards Carter and peeked my soft lips against his lips.. I softly whispered I'm stilling love you baby, can't a soul break our bond!! My stomach started to cramp, my heart started beating swiftly with a fast pace. I turned to see that Kisha was gone so I headed out the door with tears of pain!!!
