Chris POV:

These last few weeks been weird as fuck. First...Leena told me she was pregnant. That set off a trigger real quick. I was pissed off. And still is. So we haven't been talking at all. And all of a sudden...MeMe hit me up asking me to come by her place. So abracadabra! I'm in Atlanta. Why she want me to come by? Ion know. I didn't even know she was back at home. When I get to her house, I ring her doorbell. But I get carried away and start makin' a beat. I was so into it. Then tha door opened

Mariah: "Bitch? Tha fuck?"

Me: "I ain't no bitch. Imma nigga"

I walked in and closed tha door behind me

Me: "What chu cookin'?"

Mariah: "Food"

I just looked at her and she started laughin'

Me: "A he he hell. What chu cookin'?"

Mariah: "What it smell like?"

Me: "Something Italian"

Mariah: "You have a nose like a dog"

I mushed ha face and she hit me in my stomach. And I looked at her

Mariah: "You put yo hand in my face" She said laughin'

We go in tha kitchen and she goes to tha stove while I sit in the stool. She takes out a pizza and sits it right in front of me

Mariah: "Want a slice?"

Me: "Well yea. Do you not know me?"

She started laughin' and handed me a plate

Mariah: "Enjoy"

I got at least three slices. She got her slices and we went in tha livin' room

Mariah: "Na ta why I called you ova hea'. Dis gotta get done quick cuz I got somebody comin' by. Ion know when dey comin' so...yea. You rememba when I said dat...I needed some time and space? From...er'thang"

I just nod

Mariah: "Well...I had time ta think. About a lot of shit..."

Me: "Like what?"

She starts laughin'

Mariah: "Pizza good?"

I just nod

Mariah: "*giggles* Ta answer yo question. My life wit Aug and tha bullshit dat come wit it. My family. Myself and what I needa do ta fix myself. Annnnd...us"

I just look at her

Mariah: "I know what I said. And I swea' on er'thang I love...I meant it. Then I thought about my kids, bruh. I know how dey are. If it ain't me and Aug...then it's nobody. Period. I would rather be single than go through hell"

Me: "I understand. Kids come first. But one question..."

Mariah: "Wassup?"

Me: "You love me, right?"

She smiled at me

Mariah: "Of course I do. Haven't I always?"

Me: "*chuckles* Good cuz I love you, too"

She kissed my cheek, then tha front door closed

August: "MeMe!"

Mariah: "Ohhhhhhhhh shit!"
