THIRD PERSON.
Noah gulped as he stared into Justin's eyes. The look Justin held in his eyes informed Noah that he was mad about something, he just didn't know what. Nevertheless, Noah stood his ground not wanting to cower down to the muscular boy.
"How'd you get my number?" Noah wondered. He had no idea why Justin would want to text him in the first place. It was clear he didn't like him so why would he want to talk him?
Justin broke his stare and looked down the street in the direction of Lacey's house before he slowly turned back around and pulled his hood further over his head. "How long have you known Lacey?" He asked, choosing to ignore Noah's question. He wasn't here to answer to Noah, Noah was suppose to answer to him. Always.
Noah furrowed his eyebrows and cocked his head slightly. "Why?" He asked.
"How long have you known her," Justin said as he balled his clammy fists in his pockets. He had to keep his anger in tact if he wanted Noah to follow his instructions. And most importantly, keep Lacey. Hurting her friend was surely going to push her away.
Noah sighed, finally giving in. "For a long time. Since we were kids. Why do you want to know?"
"Would you say you're the clingy type of person?" Justin asked as he stepped away from the blonde boy and took it upon himself to sit on the porch swing.
"Excuse me?" Noah narrowed his eyes. He closed the front door to his home and turned in Justin's direction, crossing his arms over one another.
"You heard me," Justin uttered as he took his hands out of his pockets and laced them behind his head.
"But your question is very vague," Noah responded.
"Oh, so you're clingly and stupid." Justin cocked his eyebrows. He didn't care that he was insulting Noah. Its not like Lacey would find out anyway. Not if Noah knew what was best for him.
"I'm not clingy," Noah retored.
"Now you're lying," Justin said. "Which makes you a stupid...clingly...liar."
Noah was confused. Confused beyond belief. He had no idea why Justin decided to interrogate and insult him at three in the morning. It just didn't make sense. "What exactly do you want?"
Justin looked up at Noah for a mere three seconds before he exhaled and stood to his feet shoving his hands back in his pockets. "To know why you cling to my girlfriend so much."
Noah chuckled to himself. It all made sense now. Justin was jealous and seemed to think that all of Lacey's time was devoted to him. It was laughable actually. "Is that why you don't like me?"
"Did I ever say I didn't Iike you?" Justin asked as he stepped closer to Noah.
"Hate to break it to you but Lacey's my best friend and we only get to see each other every summer. That's why we hang out as much as we do." Noah explained. He took a small step back when he noticed how close Justin was getting to him. He uncomfortably cleared his throat and ran his fingers through his hair, trying to keep his cool.
"Well that's all going to end now," Justin answered. "As of right now, I don't want you talking to Lacey. I don't want you looking at her, I don't want you going places with her...don't even think about her."
Noah laughed, "That's not gonna happen. Sorry."
Justin smirked. He knew he'd get that answer. He knew Noah wasn't going to comply. Which is why he already had another plan. Justin didn't want to get physical with Noah. He wasn't scared to, he's gotten physical with plenty of people before. But he cared about Lacey and he knew Lacey cared about Noah. If he hurt Noah, he'd be hurting her. But if that was the only way to keep the blonde haired boy away from his girl so that everything worked out, then he had to do what he had to do.
