I wake up to my alarm clock at 6. Since I have to be ready by 8 this morning. I grab some clothes and go to the bathroom. I take a 30 minute shower. That's enough time to wash all of my hair and body. I get out quickly at 6:30 and dry my body off. I put my shorts on then my shirt. I go to my room wondering what shoes to wear. At 7:45, I finally find the perfect shoes. I go back to the bathroom. I straighten my hair and put my nose ring in.
Its exactly 8:00 when I'm downstairs with all of my stuff.
"Perfect timing." mama says with a sad smile.
I roll my eyes and go out to her escalade. I fasten my seat belt and wait for her. She finally comes out of the house and locks the house up. She gets in the car and starts the engine up. She drives off without even talking to me.
After an hour, our silent ride to the airport is finally over. I grab my bags and mom hands me my ticket.
"Flight to Washington is time to load." an attendant.
I sigh and go on the plane without hugging mama. She don't deserve one for sending me off to Washington. I find my seat. I smile because I have a window seat. I look out the window and see mom crying. I roll my eyes and look straight ahead.
As the plane takes off, I look back out my window. I smile at the view as the ground gets further and further from me.
-2 hours later-
The plane lands in Forks, Washington. Dad is supposed to be here. I see a sign that says 'Taylor Uley". I sigh, here we go. I walk over to the sign and see dad.
"Hey, Taylor. I know I have a lot to prove before you trust me but I can guarantee you'll like La Push." Sam (my dad) says.
"Okay. We'll have to see about that. Prove it and I'll believe you." I reply simply before walking ahead of him.
I get in the jeep he says in his wife's. It's pretty. You don't see jeeps like this in Vegas. That's probably why I like it so much. It's different from my environment.
At Sam's cabin, I smile at the boys. We was all young when we saw each other last. I get out of the jeep and walk inside the cabin. A woman comes from the kitchen and she has a bad scar on her face. That must me Emily. A buff looking girl comes in the door after me. Seth comes in after. That girl must be Leah. The she-wolf.
"Taylor. You're right on time for dinner. Do you like steak or chicken?" Emily smiles at me.
"I prefer chicken." I reply.
"Alright. I'll put chicken in the oven. Thanks for not putting up a fight." she smiles.
"Why would I do that? It seems decent here." I reply honestly.
Paul and Embry come in joking up and laughing. Paul looks at me and smiles.
"Hey Taylor." He smiles at me.
"Hey, Paul." I grin at him. He has grown good looking since we were 5.
"You've grown. a lot." He smirks.
Then our eyes meet.
:Paul:
Her eyes pull me to her but I stay still. I stare into her brown eyes. I was made for her. To protect her. To love her. To comfort her. She's my imprint.
:Taylor:
He breaks his gaze in my eyes when my dad comes in. Dad glares at Paul then at me. I scoff as I follow my dad to my new room.
"Make yourself cozy. I don't want you near Paul." Dad grumbles.
I scoff and roll my eyes. I slam the door in his face and lock it. He can't keep me away from anybody. I'm 18.
I start unpacking my clothes and see the necklace my ex boyfriend, Jasper Hale, gave me. He's a vampire. Carlisle adopted and changed him. He was amazing until he dumped me go Alice Cullen. His sister. A vampire too. It's disgusting.
I sigh in exhaustion as I sit on my bed when I finish unpacking my clothes. I grab my hair stuff and bring it to the bathroom. I don't own any makeup because I don't wear it. I walk out and bump into Paul.
"Sorry. My don't want me near you." I mumble as I walk past him. I go to my room and go to bed.
:Paul:
I stomp up to Sam mad.
"Sam, Taylor is my imprint. You cannot keep us apart. And you know it." I say madly.
"I didn't know you imprinted. I'll talk to Taylor tomorrow and tell her she can see you. I'm sorry Paul." Sam says.
"I forgive you. But will she?" I ask.
I go into my room and lay down in my bed. I fall asleep with my imprint on mind.
