Well, I have a date with Paul tonight. I'm so ready for this. I get out of bed, hungry. I smell eggs and hear bacon sizzling. My belly grumbles, telling me to follow the food that's calling for me. I walk like a zombie into the kitchen where the boys are. Even Seth and Leah are here this morning. I smile and sit beside Paul.

"Do you have what you're wearing to our date?" Paul asks as I dig into my breakfast.

"Yeah." I say with a mouth full of food.

"Something fancy?" He asks again.

"Yes." I stat, starting to get annoyed with all the questions.

"Okay, good. Be ready by 6." Paul says and walks out of the kitchen to his room.

I go to my room and check my email. I see one from my mom.

'dear Taylor,
I miss you and I want you to come home. I took a parenting class. I will be there in five months to pick you up. I've become pregnant.
Mom'

My mouth drops. I punch my desk and groan in anger. Dad walks in. I show him the email.

"I know. She called here while you were sleeping to tell me. She said she'd email it to you." He says sadly.

"She won't get you, I promise." Dad grumbles. He kisses my forehead and walks to the living room.

I sigh as my clock shows 5:00pm. I need to shower and get ready for the date. I go to the bathroom with my dress and shoes. I take a thirty minute shower and hop out. I dry my hair and my body. I put the dress on and curl my hair. I put my lip ring in and my heels on. I'm done right at 6.

I walk to the living room. Paul is waiting for me, he's wearing a black and white tuxedo. Dad is smiling from ear to ear when he sees me.

Paul takes me by the arm and escorts me to his Cadillac. He opens the passengers side door for me. I blush deeply before getting in the car. I buckle my seatbelt by the time he's on his side. It's like he's in a hurry and ready for this date. This is normal for me. In Vegas, I had five guys a week. 1 on Monday, 1 on Tuesday and so on. I'm not a whore anymore. I'm dating Paul. I love Paul a bunch. He means the world to me.

Dad said he wouldn't let mom take me. I don't wanna go back to Vegas. I like it here in La Push. Dad said I would. I have gained my dads trust finally and everything. I'm not ready to flush it down the drain an forget about it.

I snap out of my train of thought when Paul stops the car at a fancy Japanese restaurant. My mouth gaps open and I crack a small smile. I wait while Paul comes to my side and opens my door for me. I step out, take his hand, and follow him into the restaurant.

"Lahote." Paul says to the waiter, whose name tag says his name is Ben.

"Right this way, guys." Ben says politely. They chose a great waiter for the job.

I smile as Paul and I follow our waiter. We are seated.

"Well, my name is Ben and I will be your waiter this afternoon. What can I get you to drink?" Ben asks as we take our seats.

"I want a Kiwi Sprite." I say loud enough for Ben and Paul to hear me.

"I will take a vanilla sprite, please." Paul replies.

"I will be back. Here are your menus." Ben smiles and walks away.

"I like it here." I say to Paul while also looking through the menu.

"Here are your guys' drinks. Are you ready to order?" Ben asks. handing us our drinks.

"I will take some shrimp covered with yum yum sauce, some rice and noodles." I reply and he scribbles that down.

"I will take a salmon and some rice." Paul replies and Ben scribbles that down too.

"Thank you. I will be back with your food shortly." Ben shoots us a smile before departing to the kitchen.

"I love this place. The people are nice. It has a nice setting. And it has different drink options." I giggle.

"I like it too. That's why I chose it." Paul says sarcastically as Ben serves us our food.

"Thank. You." I hand Ben a $26 tip.

"You're welcome. Please, enjoy your meal." Ben bows and walks off.

"Where'd you get money?" Paul chuckles deeply.

"My mom gave it to me before she brought me to the airport." I reply simply before beginning to end at my meal.

Paul and I eat in a comfy silence. There wasn't anything awkward about it. It was nice and cozy. I could sit in this silence with Paul forever. Kidding! I love hearing his voice. I could listen to his voice all day everyday. And that's the truth.

"Paul, can I tell you something?" I ask shyly.

"Yeah, go ahead babe." Paul replies.

"Paul, i...." im interrupted my dad howling.

"They found Lauren I gotta go. I'm so sorry, baby." and with that, Paul was gone and I was alone. No ride home. I'll call Emily.

PHONE CALL:
Emily: Hello?
Me : EMILY I'm stuck at Tiyoto. Paul left me for a bloodsucker.
Emily : (chuckles softly) ah he is still your man. I'll come and get you.
Me : Thank you, Emily.
END OF PHONE CALL

I sigh as it gets cold outside, hurry up Emily. The cold breeze blows across my face when Emily pulls in. I smile in relief and run to her jeep. The heat hits me and I groan in pleasure.

"Are you ok?" Emily asks.

"Yeah, just really cold." I reply, shivering bad.

"Sorry I was late." She gives me an innocent grin.

"It's fine. Just get me home where it's warm." I beg.

"Alright, Taylor." Emily says lightly before driving off.

I run into the house and slam the AC off. I turn the heat on and bundle up in a blanket. Stupid Paul.

Dad and the other wolves come barging in laughing with a mad Paul. I roll my eyes and go to stand in front of the heat.

"We lost him." dad says.

"Yeah and Paul. You left Taylor at Tiyoto, she froze her bit off while I had to go get her." Emily yells in Paul's face. I can tell she's been around the wolves for a while.

"Paul." dad says gruffly.

Paul whimpers and goes outside, dad right behind him. They phase and they fight.

I go to my room when I'm warm enough and put on some fuzzy pajamas because they are the warmest. I climb into bed and fall asleep.
