-------------------- Chapter Eighteen --------------------
Jace drove like a maniac on drugs, so we reached my house in a considerably short amount of time, which I was grateful for.
Before I could open the doors, Michael was there, tearing them open.
Jace raced around and picked up Ari, carrying her inside. I followed closely.
When inside, I ran upstairs and changes, pulling clothes on. I grabbed a bunch of spare clothes from a guest room and ran downstairs.
I threw them in the spare room downstairs and told the Anderson's to get changed.
I sprint down the hallway to the Medical room, where Jace is checking over Ari. Pulls a blanket over her body, and she shifts back.
He stares at me and I nod.
I am by her side in a second, taking advantage of the wolf speed in me.
I lean down and brush her hair away from her neck.
I look at the mark I made on her neck for a second, before biting down on it for the fourth time. I feel the silver light seep out of me and into her, giving me a shot of joy.
She arches her body into mine, feeling energy flowing through her body.
I pull back, after giving her only a little, like Jace advised.
"She'll be okay right?" I ask him, after he checks her out.
"Yeah, she's just tired. What happened?"
I tell him what happened, that Joseph was torturing her for some reason.
Ne nods.
"Her health has improved dramatically since last time I doctored her. I think she won't need you to do that for much longer." He's says.
I smile weakly at him, happy that she will get better, but too tired to smile properly.
He continues to check her vital signs, so I walk out of the room and into the lounge room, where all her brothers are waiting.
They all pound me with questions.
I flop down on the sofa, rubbing my temples.
"She's fine. You can go and see her if you want to." I say, pointing down the direction of the medical room.
"Hey Alpha?" Michael says.
"Yeah?" I ask.
