Chapter Thirty-Five

 I am so sorry about the long wait! It's just I have two major assignments and three others ones, as well as a maths test and language test comeing up that i need to revise for. So the gaps in between each upload will be a little longer than usual until all these tests are over.

Sorry.

(Ari's POV)

As soon as Samuel had finished burning my arm, which hurt a lot, Andre had told me to flare up the silver light. 

I had screamed at him no. 

He had said it was Ash who told me to do it, so I did. 

But only briefly, letting the light consume the room, sapping my energy away. 

I could hear Joseph running this way with Mason and Samuel, so I turned around and lay down, pretending to be asleep. 

They burst through the door and Mason and Samuel had pulled me up and were holding me above the floor by my arms.  

I screamed out in pain as my shoulders cracked. 

"What was that?" Joseph screams in my face, tears fall freely down my face as I sob in pain, my arms stinging where Mason and Samuel grip them. 

"Let me go!" I scream in a high pitched voice, making them all cringes at the loudness of it, but they still don't let me go. 

"What was that?" Joseph growls, hitting me across the face 

"I don't know! Nothing happened!" I scream, making them all cringe again. 

"You're lying." He states blankly, hitting me hard in the stomach, winding me. 

"No, I'm not!" I screech, even though I am lying. 

"Hit her again Joseph, I want her to feel pain." A woman says from the door. 

She steps in the room followed by a man. 

I recognise her as Ash's Mum, so the man must be his Dad. 

I growl at them, my body starting to shake. 

"Now don't growl at us missy." Bruce says, coming closer. 

I growl again, my eyes turning yellow. The force of my shaking makes Mason and Samuel drop me, and I land crouching on the floor, growling up at them.
