You may not find them in this life, but you will keep looking for them in the next.

John spent all his lives looking for his soulmate. He never gave up and they kept looking for eachother.
Sometimes Kankri looked up to his soul mate, other times the roles were flipped. Same thing goes with Kanaya.
Eridan never knew who his was. His soulmate seemed to be a figure of his imagination.
