This guy is hot. Like, Baby please take me. I guess that's why I didn't bash his face in when he begged me to stop.

"I hope so. So what's for dinner?" I asked.

"Whatever you have." He said looking at his hand.

"You're bleeding! Come to the kitchen. Let me help you." I grabbed his wrist leading him into the kitchen.

"Its not that bad." He said wincing when he touched it.

"What happened?" I asked when I pulled the first aid kit from the cabinet.

"I cut myself climbing in through your window... Sorry about the window by the way... its going to be really cold in there now." He said looking at the ground, orange candle light dancing on his face.

"Don't worry about it. We'll figure that out after this." I said as I poured alcohol on his cut. He pulled his hand back in made some weird noise of pain.

"Pete. Don't pull away. It has to be cleaned." I grabbed his wrist with force and held it in place as I poured alcohol and cleaned it as he bit his lip trying not to make anymore weird ass noises.

"There. I'm done cleaning it. Let me wrap it up." I said.

"Okay."

I held bandaged the bandage applying heavy pressure to his hand until the bleeding stopped, then I wrapped his hand tightly in clean bandages.

"There you go. All better." I said smiling at him.

"Thanks!" He smilies back as I looked into his golden brown eyes.

"Now let's go worry about that window." I said leading him back to the living room where he broke the window.

"How are you going to fix it?" Pete asked looking confused.

"Wait here." I said grabbing a flashlight before going down to the basement. I looked around, stepping over boxes, tripping over thing I can't see, and coughing from dust and ash.

I grabbed a spare window pane that my parents bought when everything happened. They knew people were going to break in so they thought ahead. I went back up carrying it.

"Why the fuck do you have a spare window pane?" Pete asked.

"My parents bought it."

"You look young, but aren't you a little old to be living with your parents?" He asked. I just laughed a little.

"I moved back in with my parents to take care of them after the volcanoes started erupting, but they both passed away so I just stayed here. No point in leaving." I explained.

"Oh. I see. Do you know how to install a window pane?"

"Honestly... I was hoping you would know."

"Well then you're in luck, because I do. Now let's hurry and get this up because its really cold and the floor is getting wet from the snow."

He said "let's" but what he really meant was that I would stand by and look good as I watched as him fix my window he broke. However, I did get a broom and sweep the glass off the floor.

The whole time Bronx just sat there and watched without saying a word. He is so cute. I always wanted a kid, but it just wasn't in the cards for me I suppose. Every guy I've been with never wanted a kid and then the world fucked everything up destroying any chance I had at adopting a little human.

"Alright. All done. Now how about we eat? Its been a few days since Bronx ate and he needs food." Pete said sadly.

"Well let's go get something!" I run to the kitchen and come back with the canned meat I have left. Canned chicken, beef, pork, and green beans, because you must have a vegetable.
