The moon had taken its place on Thai starry night. No clouds were to be seen, a perfect night for stargazing. Which is what Ariella and Thranduil planned on doing.
They walked through mirkwood, listening to the sounds of all the night creatures like frogs, crickets, and owls.
The moon lit the forest just enough to see where they were walking and it made kind of romantic in a way.
"I'm glad we decided to do this, it's so beautiful tonight." Ariella said, looking up into Thranduil's eyes.
"Do you want to sit down and stargaze for a bit?" He asked.
"I'd love to." Ariella replied. The couple sat down on some soft grass in a small clearing.
After a few minutes, Ariella shivered. Her pink, knee length, thing strapped dress wasn't keeping her very warm on this chilly night.
"Are you cold?" Thranduil asked.
"A little." Ariella replied.
"Here." Thranduil took off his overcoat and draped it over Ariella's shoulders.
"Thanks." Ariella said, cuddling inside the warmth. Ariella looked back up at the stars and was amazed at how clear they were. And how many there was.
Thranduil looked over at Ariella and smiled at her awestruck expression of the stars.
"What?" Ariella asked, turning towards him.
"Nothing." Thranduil said looking away.
Ariella giggled, "on perfect night like tonight, I would think you'd be looking at the stars."
"I found something more beautiful to look at, I guess." Thranduil said, looking into her eyes again.
Ariella smiled and let out a small "aw".
Ariella and Thranduil looked into each other's eyes and slowly moved towards each other. They shared a small kiss.
"Was that our first kiss?" Thranduil asked, after the kiss.
"Yep, do you... Do you want a second one?" Ariella laughed.
"Sure, maybe tomorrow though." They both laughed and continued stargazing until they had to head back.
